Does anyone remember what happened with the Stasi in East Germany? Reagan, who said tear down this wall? Then everyone found out who was turning each other in?

Remember – in just one year as president, Trump raked in over $2 billion in personal wealth. He’s left the rest of country dealing with devastating health care and food assistance cuts, spiking gas prices, and inflation on everything else you buy.

And what, pray tell, are these people getting for this alleged fraud? If you have health insurance you don’t use, you get nothing at all. So wouldn’t the issue then be companies?

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Assistant AG for Fraud Colin McDonald: "Apparently 35% of people have never even used their Obamacare account for any health services. That is a statistical impossibility and it's because these are not real people seeking real care. These are fraudsters."

People are falling for the DSA vs Establishment trap again. Didn’t we learn our lesson in 2016 and 2024? It’s the establishment’s job to build a coalition that can win EVERYWHERE. In some places, that means ultra-progressive. In others, it means establishment. The tent is big enough for all of us.

Trump is a thief. His administration is built on thievery. Shame, Americans. Profound shame. Too many of us either like it or we don’t care.

So how is this kind of thing anti-capitalism?! Government exists to take care of infrastructure so we can succeed if we work hard.

It's not enough to help NYC small businesses open their doors, you have to bring customers through them. From brighter lighting to cleaner streets, we're investing $8.4 million in neighborhood improvements to bring more foot traffic and customers to 20,000+ small businesses.

Don’t turn on the sound. Just watch Trump’s face. Does this man look sane? Or alert? Why do we put up with it?

The thing is, rapists know they raped. To then try something like running for office knowing you raped is both the height of hubris and a subconscious wish to be caught. See ya. Wouldn’t wanna be ya.

Remember how good we had things back on Election Day, 2024? Gas $3.07 Annual Inflation 2.2% Unemployment 4.1% GDP Growth 2.8% Then MAGA came along and made everything worse. Operation Epstein Fury has increased our energy prices by 50%. Inflation is skyrocketing. Our deficit is exploding.

This is why educated Americans are more often Democrats. This is why Republicans can just keep exploiting their base.

What do you learn at university? 1. The difference between considering an idea for purposes of evaluation and advocating it. 2. The distinction between evaluating an idea and evaluating the person who proposes it. 3. The tension between ‘big picture’ and ‘fine-grain’. Skills, not (only) facts

Can we just start laughing at how ridiculous this guy is? Sleepy Don, master projector. Whatever he does, no he didn’t. Biden did. What a total moron “I’m like a really smart person.” No you really aren’t. But Biden is. Obama is.

I think we should all just pretend not to speak English and try to talk to ICE officers so they all try to see if we are immigrants using their fascist software and overload their dystopian system.

This is the golden calf. All evangelicals should be able to recognize the Antichrist. And all the science based people should be able to recognize psychosis and dementia.

So yesterday, the president's allies unveiled a 22-foot-tall golden statue of him that they prayed around, and then the president confused Iran and Iraq, seemed clueless about his FDA commissioner getting fired, and called a reporter a bitch? Cool. Cool cool cool.

I’m so sick of Dems eating their own. I DO NOT GIVE AF ABOUT THAT AUTOPSY. (And the Washington Examiner is not a good source, doofus.) I care that Dems support Dems talking about the hellscape the GOP has created. Martin changed his mind. End of story.

I’m reading a serious story in the NYTimes likely aimed more at men and we have this retro half naked young woman in a clothing ad and I’m just so sick of this cultural bullshit. If we want no more Epstein depravity we have to recognize this not-so-subtle cue for what it is. Stupid. Contributory.

Brilliant thread.

My family pretty much imploded. And for the longest time i tried to both stop it while also attempting to figure out why it was happening. I think i'm getting part of it now. And of course. It's directly tied to politics. Very often how a person sees the world in one topic. Carries over. (1)

Gosh. They made it the Department of War and what do you know, they are sending troops to War. Sadly I’m guessing there will be more Trump voting families who will lose loved ones than not. I wonder if the searing pain will wake them up.

So. Trump started a war because he knew the allegations of a credible victim were going to be released. An alleged victim who, at 13 had the wherewithal to bite him on his tiny penis rather than to submit, and who he punched in the head for it. He’s thinks now that there’s a war, he’s untouchable.

Women: We live in a constant state of vigilance because men pose a constant threat to us, here are literally millions of corroborating stories. Men: What a scary time for men this is.

This man DIED. I live in this city. The Burmese and other refugee communities (Cambodian, Hmong, Somali) have had a hugely positive effect on the city, rebuilding neighborhoods, taking low paying service jobs that no one wanted. They are friendly, responsible neighbors. Shame. Shame. Shame.

Democrats' demand that Stephen Miller is fired as a condition of voting for ICE funding is one of the smartest moves they've made under Trump. Miller is a loathsome figure who I imagine has rock-bottom likability numbers. Democrats should try to raise his public salience as often as possible.

Border Patrol chief Greg Bovino marches through Minneapolis surrounded by federal agents, shouting at American citizens. This isn’t about deporting “the worst of the worst.” It’s about deliberately sowing fear and chaos in cities that oppose the Trump regime ht: @rpsagainsttrump.bsky.social

Whether it’s Donald Trump tanking the economy, shredding the Constitution, and executing civilians or Joe Biden having a raspy voice at a debate, both men have defiled all that is sacred about about our nation.

Minneapolis has to shut down. Anyone vulnerable has to stay indoors where ICE can’t detain them. The streets should be empty. Don’t fight ICE. Avoid them at all costs. Ignore whenever possible. Grey rock them. Rely on white neighbors for deliveries etc. Volunteers should organize.
