What a great range of choices we have for the state election this year: - incumbent government who have been in so long they've lost touch with voters - big business owned main opposition who want to sell & destroy everything - billionaire-owned racists - Trots pretending to be environmentalists

saying this, the incumbents are by FAR the best choice of the lot to lead, but they really need to have a wake up call and stop pandering to corps and foreign vested interest groups. There are real problems with the state and institutional corruption they need to address.

oh I forgot a couple of the other parties: - Trots who are actually trots, and unapologetic about it - People who care for animals. That's about it, really. - about 400 pretend parties set up by a cutting board chucking abuser who should be in jail

The amount of work you can get done on a single charge on a modern MacBook is honestly impressive. I'm not doing anything processor intensive, but I've been writing a document for about 3 hours with a few reference web searches mixed in, and the battery has barely dropped 10%

Been working with a careers coach for a while to try and fine tune job applications. We've been working on a truly excellent opportunity for about a week, only to find out once I finally got the final feedback that the job ad had already closed. Sigh.
