Cannot stress how AMAZING the new Ikea BILRESA switches are. £3/£4 each depending if you get the 2 button or the scroll wheel. Matter-enabled. Home Assistant automation blueprints available for both. I bought 2x 2-button and 1x scroll wheel and within an hour had working automations for 3 rooms.

I think anothe reason why it's so impressive is that when we moved into this house, I bought every room a TRAFRI switch which cost me like... £7/8 each at the time - double the cost of the BILRESA. They take watch batteries (not AAA like BILRESA) and you have to use Touchlink on Hue hubs to get

them to work. The BILRESA are Matter-enabled so just work with no additional Ikea hub. Genuinely incredible bits of tech. Will be interested to see how long 2x AAA batteries last in them but I fully recommend them if you've got a smart home.

For my office dual button: Top button single click: toggle main light Double click: toggle corner lamp Hold: Turn off all lights Bottom button single click: turn radiator on and set temp Double click: Turn radiator off Hold: Toggle my wireless phone charger Essentially becomes a room remote!

Living room has 3 channels for each of the lights. I gave another dual button to my partner to turn off the bedroom lamp, big light, TV, all from bed. Bottom button can send me a push notification to my phone when she needs her water refilling, & holding it turns a fan noise on the speaker for bed

The scroll wheel has 3 separate channels each with single press, double press, triple press, press and hold, and scroll. So can essentially set it up to control 3 smart lights fully. The dual switch has 2 buttons that has single click, double click, press and hold &also an action for releasing hold

Tried to sign in and it just refused to send a login code to my email. I contacted support, they escalated it to the CEO, and she told me my email

address isn’t “real” (despite the fact I can send and receive emails from it) and that’s the issue. The actual problem seems to be that your system doesn’t support email domains that don’t end in .com or .co.uk. So now I’m apparently supposed to sign up again with a Gmail address or something and

New Bluesky feature just lets you set yourself to "Live" for any Twitch stream - don't even have to prove it's you!

In fact, the stream you link doesn't even have to be live - it's just linking out to Twitch and not checking the status of the live. I know it would be more work to integrate directly with Twitch OAuth but I think it would be a better feature all-round if they did that instead
