I've set up a kofi for anyone that would like to support or commission me. You can view the non-sped up process for my new drawings by donating. Downloading some of my artwork without compression should be easier there. Your support is appreciated regardless if you donate. ko-fi.com/zedotagger

WIP of splatoon stuff that I'll animate and finish at some point. I don't know when I'll get back to it, but I really just needed to take my eyes off it and work on smaller things instead.

Even if it's not finished, here's the process for it. Really just polish and small details missing. I wanted to work on something else for a little while though.

I finally had a chance to finish this landscape over the weekend. I don't think it's anywhere in particular but it reminds me of hiking in the Lake District. Enjoy! #pixelart

It's still one day for me, but for others the game's out. Finished with these for now. Maybe I'll draw seasoned salmons once I play and finish with raiders. #pixelart #splatoonraiders

This isn't really as detailed as my other stuff. Just something quick and easy after I thought "bamboo?" while playing gunfire reborn.

Here's one of many buildings I made for Forge of the Fae, an upcoming RPG I've been working on alongside a crack team of seasoned pixel artists (grass and dirt tiles not by me). #pixelart

I feel like I always have a different idea for the colors/lighting at the beginning. Things were starting to look muddy so I went with more contrast. Then cause of my color changes, I thought a blue bg would look weird. Thankfully, digital lets me waste all the time I want switching colors.

I go so long between posting I learn there's new changes to the media compression almost everytime lol. Got to learn how I should upload pixel art here again.

I just enjoy drawing nature vs. architecture at the end of the day. This took a few days to draw the still versus my previous one. At the beginning I couldn't get roses out of my mind, so some of the flowers may look weird. I tried fixing them later when I got the right image in mind.

I got too bored drawing this at some point and just forced myself to finish it weeks later tbh. It doesn't look too polished cause of this. Quite possibly just got too sidetracked by games to feel motivated to work on some personal art.

It's not officially spring yet, but it already feels like it where I am. There was another "Idk what colors I want" stage. And then it pretty much went back to the original colors anyways lol.

Ever since i made this waterfall i've seen it referenced so many times, you've probably seen a version of it in many indie games lol. It's very noticeable too, because it's very stylized and unlike how water moves. Originally created for Tiny Thor though!

It's nice that gifs are now gifs here, instead of video. Only there's still issues with colors/compression. That's just a part of life posting art online though.

Only recently found out you can switch frames within a tag/loop in aseprite. Used to draw in a new file and transfer the layers/sprites to the main one to not mess up the workflow. Seriously would have saved so much time if I looked this up before, just a bruh moment.

Originally I had in mind a waterfall for this, but changed my mind during the blocking phase. There was also another foreground tree layer, but again changed my mind. Wanted to go with an heavier shadow drawing. While it is dark, I could have gone with darker shadows to be honest.

The still part of the image was pretty quick to get down at only 320x480px. Most of the canvas isn't detailed anyways which contributes to how fast I drew it.

As for the animation, it only has 16 frames to it. Certain parts are only 8 and then repeated. The frames with the same color on their layer are duplicates. The foreground usually layers have duplicates to give it a "slower" animation in the gif.
