@harrisfootball.com Was giving a ride to a guy from Australia heading to his draft who learned 10 minutes earlier that it's superflex. Talked him out of Bo Nix as good 2nd QB. "He looks like an 80s villain and he's bad at football" "Why does the first part matter?" "Well...just pick someone else."

@andrewtorrez.bsky.social I don't know if you've seen the recent outrage in Guitar Law, but Fender is trying to enforce IP rights to the strat body. Couldn't do it in America, but they've got an EU default judgement against someone on AliBaba and are trying to use that.

Does that seem likely to work? And beyond that...can it possibly be a good move given the PR cost? They were already falling off in terms of quality control. Leo Fender must be spinning in his grave.

@shadowtodd.bsky.social I noticed that you have 666k subs. Pretty evil. Inspired me to check if Iron Maiden ever had a crossover hit. They didn't, unsurprisingly. What did surprise is they only have 6 singles on the Mainstream Rock chart out of 40+

@kofie.bsky.social Halloween has some great Chopped episodes. S11E03 for example. Did you ever watch Cutthroat Kitchen? I'm always amazed by the lack of strategy. Plus Simon Majumdar is a great judge. Shares my contempt for inedible garnishes.

Hey everyone, you’ve been asking me to run for office for a while, so guess what? I’m running for California State Assembly! Now, I don’t like asking for money, but we gotta pay for this somehow, and if everyone throws in $7 we’ll have the resources to run one hell of a race, so, uh, do the thing.

I’ve never been one to sit on the sidelines. I’m running for State Assembly. Let’s fight for the future we deserve. 🚀 ➡️ KluweOC.com/Donate #ChrisKluwe #CALeg #OrangeCounty

@harrisfootball.com took one for the team and watched Happy Gilmore 2. I will admit to laughing out loud a couple times, all in the first 15 minutes. It's not offensively stupid like some Sandler movies, but it is kind of boring. I think this is one you can safely skip.

@openargs.bsky.social Since singers are getting in trouble this week: Rainbow had a song called "Kill the King." I guess Megadeth does too, but Dio is a lot cooler than Mustaine. Hypothetically, how on the nose could someone performing that song get with the subtext without breaking the law?

B. Bringing in a third person will void your priest-penitent privilege just like it will void your marriage. Did I say marriage? I meant spousal privilege.

Here's Question 70 of #T3BE (quote skeet to play). Father Alberto sounds like a petty little diva who loves to stir the pot and I'm here for it. Hear the answer choices in the episode: podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/c...

C. Absent specific legislation, a bar owner can sell someone a finger of whiskey and then give you the finger when that person drives drunk.

#T3BE players, Question 69 (haha) is live! Quote skeet to play even if this is your first time seeing the word "dram shop" because the law is weird and it's fun to learn about it. Answer choices are in the episode: podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/g...

For the folks who like rock music: check out the brand new Visions of Tomorrow from The Riven. Lots of retro rock music feels derivative. This keeps the attitude and vibe of music from 50 years ago while still feeling fresh and badass.

@harrisfootball.com You movie episode reminded me of something I've been suggesting a bunch lately: I think you'd really like Perfect Days if you haven't seen it. It isn't for everyone, but it's beautiful and touching and foreign and boring, so seems like you might.
