I don't see how there's any coming back from this for generations... In 2016, it could reasonably be argued that we made a mistake... This time, we did it on purpose. The American people have proven that they cannot be trusted to play such a uniquely critical role in geopolitical economics.

I wish that were a guarantee. Trump is not leaving voluntarily in three years. Not only has the regular military shown zero signs it will stand up to him but he now has a militia of well armed MAGATS that is better funded than most militaries. I see a great struggle in three years.
