Casualties are higher if you count civilian deaths as meaningful as those in uniform. Why we focus exclusively on the deaths of those in uniform with blinders to the civilian catastrophe is such a wierd cultural blindness.

You need to realize that US casualties is the least important aspect of this war. It makes little difference if 6 or 10 or 12 US soldiers were killed; it's orders of magnitude fewer than Iranian civilians, who did not willingly choose a job where getting killed is part of the contract
