I don’t know why you refused to talk about DHH. He was the reason sidekick pulled their sponsorship. DHH and Tobi have been acting atrociously since the debacle insulting and berating valuable members of the community. If you are brave address this in a podcast

> DHH and Tobi have been acting atrociously (sic) insulting and berating valuable members of the community Can you provide sources for this? We wanted to stick to what’s confirmed (timeline and governance issues), not speculation on motives. The goal wasn’t to dodge, just to keep it useful.

You can look at their xitter posts to see their abuse of various members of the Ruby community. Mike Perham was very public about why he ended his contributions to Ruby central. It was because of DHH Honestly this whole thing at its core is about DHH

Mmm ok yep that's wild, don't get me wrong. But seems like a false equivalence. It doesn't talk about anything related to the issue in the episode and instead is about something unrelated (imo) which is calls for DHH to step down. Again, absolutely wild retweet.

I can directly confirm that DHH's surprise apperance at RailsConf 2025 caused a funding catastrophe for Ruby Central which then led to the board deciding on the recent course of events *because the only big remaining sponsor was Shopify* and if they ran off, RC as a viable org was completely toast.

Also. It's not cowardice to demand evidence; it’s rigor. If there are specific quotes or incidents, cite them directly rather than gesturing broadly at 'Xitter posts.' Turning a complex institutional issue into a personality drama is not brave; it’s lazy analysis.

If you’re interested in content like that, I suggest you write your own blog post or start a podcast. However, that’s not the type of content we cover. It never has been, and we aren't going to start now regardless of our personal feelings on the topic.
