"Are you ready for this, media?" -- Bondi turns to the press and credits Trump for saving "258 million lives"

She is saying the adult population would have died from Fentanyl. Thats absurdly not true. People are buying food on layaway paying for it later with high interest. But they have money for Fentanyl. 100% of thr adults on American statistics would never all die from one thing at any given time.

258 million lives? So… Bondi really thinks 75 percent of the us would have od’ed on fentanyl if it weren’t for Trump? I think we all know who’s really high in this scenario, and I hope she gets the help she needs

Pammie, have you read Miles Taylor's books yet? Cuz Donnie wanted you to research all the big bad lies Miles told abt him. You have to start there, obviously. Plse tell us what lies Miles told abt Donnie, & how you both plan to get even for those lies. Including the revenge arrests you're planning.

It's worse, It's actually 3/4. She is saying that 3 out of 4 Americans would have died without Trump. Absolutely nuts. That means 3 out of 4 Americans are taking black market drugs (would have to be more since not everyone ODs). And again, numbers and statements made without a shred of evidence

You're assuming he's only not pushing the button once a day. I have it on good authority that he actually not pushes the button many more times than that. It adds up.

Actually, I think it comes out to 3/4 of Americans are junkies. Population is around ~340 million, and she states 285 million were saved. But the math don’t matter, because it’s all bullshit. I guarantee she gives zero fucks about fentanyl deaths unless it somehow makes her and her boss look good.

Does anyone want to bet that there is a comma in there, and she doesn't know what it means. I can believe 2.58 million, hell 25.8 million is still somewhat believable, but FFS 258 million is just over 3/4 of the population. How can anyone be this stupid?

at my lowest, i would eat children's aspirin by the handful. that is until i got the help i needed, and by "got the help i needed," i mean an allowance so i could buy *actual* candy instead.

Just a little math check: 258M is ~74% of total US pop. She's asserting this administration saved the lives of 74% of the US population? 74% of US pop was at dire risk, & would have otherwise died from fentanyl, but for the actions of this administration? Incredible. As in, not at all credible.

The only thing I can think of is the total amount seized would be lethal enough to kill 258M adults. Similar that snakes have enough venom to kill 80+ adults. You can easily just as seize a Budweiser plant and say you have saved 200+ million from lethal alcohol poisoning

The Republican Attorney General of the USA just said on camera that because the American electorate chose to put that orange wannabe dictator back into the White House, 258 million American lives have been saved, but our media won't admit that pretty much every time a Republican speaks they're lying

When it comes to fighting the "war" on drugs, no lies, no exaggerations are too many. We need to require everyone to pass one semester of calculus to get into law school. Bondi clearly would not have.

Bondi to Trump (example of groveling sycophant replicating extreme hyperbolic mynah-bird-echo language just for Trump): “President,” she said, eyes locked on her boss, “your first 100 days has far exceeded that of any other presidency in this country. Ever. Ever. Never seen anything like it.”

In 2022, 73,654 people died from a fentanyl overdose in the US, more than double the amount of deaths from three years prior in 2019. Fentanyl deaths have increased every year for the past decade, but 2022 marked the smallest year-over-year growth at 4.3%.- Google

Remember when they said fentanyl busts during the Biden term somehow meant Biden was letting drugs cross the border? BTW, looks like they’re on pace to match last years numbers.

So if I’m following the plot, Mexican cartels are creating fentanyl, a synthetic opioid, to reduce the costs associated with production of heroin or cocaine. Why, then, would they use it to lace Tylenol, an over-the-counter drug that costs fractions of a dollar per pill to produce?

Wow, you're really an idiot arn't you? Thinking that her saying "because of the fentanyl seized from entering the country, he saved 258 million lives." That's how much lives it can kill. She's exaggerating, yes, but you trying to be a dooch about it isn't the answer. Learn to be non partisan

It's a douchy thing to not quote what she said. Knowing full well people would just read his quote and attribute it to her. He misquotes on purpose to change the context, so you get the idea in your head of what he wants you to think. He's not an actual journalist, just a douche who misquotes

She said, with a straight face and a camera on her, that Trump saved 258 million lives. There are a little over 341 million Americans. There are not 258 million people to save, because there aren't that many people addicted to painkillers. Can't wait until she has to defend this in court.

Lawyers can represent the facts that are most favorable for their clients, but they can't ethically make up new facts. She didn't give a scenario in which the fentanyl could have been distributed to 258 million people. She didn't say that the quantity was enough to kill 258 million people.

Also, this is the Attorney General speaking. She's not just a lawyer, she's THE top lawyer for the entire country. If she's being hyperbolic here, making a "little" exaggeration to make her boss look better, then she's doing a very bad job at being his lawyer.

You can watch the video. She says "saved 258 million lives" exactly. She also looks directly at the camera and addresses the media, because she's giving a quote that she expects to have published verbatim.
