We pass laws that force them to call it entertainment and not news. We pass laws allowing class action lawsuits against liars with mass market platforms. There is no reason to fear establishment of a Ministry of Truth. We just let a jury decide.

Well for one, they can't prosecute Obama for anything he did while President. SCOTUS already made that clear when they established Presidential immunity to protect Trump! Also Tulsi is full of shit! Even the Republican Controlled US Senate backed up the 2016 Russia Interference in their report.

The other thing with this, DOJ in order to prosecute would have to turn over the evidence in discovery proving the claim. Second there is a US Senate intel committee report verifying that Russia interfered in 2016. Third wasn't the Durham investigation supposed to find all this years ago?

Unfortunately the corrupt SCOTUS also ruled that immunity is a case by case basis in which they are the final arbiters. Obama will probably not be granted similar immunity.

“Official Acts” was defined quite broadly and the 9 supreme justices have the final decision on what is official. They weren’t giving power to POTUS, they were giving it to themselves.

I'd post something jokey about the statute of limitations, but I now think the Supreme Ct might hold Congress's statutes of limitations laws unenforceable against a DOJ that wants to carry out the executive's policies to prosecute whom the president wants prosecuted Incl Obama. No immunity for HIM.
