Markwayne Mullin: "I'm not joking when I say this. I drive around Washington DC in my Jeep - yes, I drive myself - & I don't buckle up. The reason I don't buckle up - people can say whatever they want - is because of carjacking. I don't want to be stuck in my vehicle when I need to exit in a hurry."

His odds of dying in a rollover in his jeep, especially if he isn't wearing a seatbelt, is infinitely higher than his risk of getting carjacked and killed because he couldn't get out of the car fast enough.

Republicans are waiting u til the mid terms to fuck over the Republican boomers they will gut their Medicaid and other benefits they paid into their entire life. Republicans posts 24/7 about everything but their policies. Why? Not popular

It's as though the Republicans in DC are following a script, from the videos that I've seen. And yet America sends thousands of school kids to DC every spring!

This pathetic attempt by 45/47 to deflect from the fact that he’s in the Epstein files sounds as made up as the, “They’re eating the dogs, they’re eating the cats”. And this Mullin dude is one of a long list of spineless Republican congressmen. They got their “orders” and are happy to parrot the BS.

That is the perfect metaphor for why Republicans vote the way they do. I understand that I may die in a car accident that is much much higher risk than a car jacking, but I convinced myself it happens to everyone like they are getting gas; and well worth going through the windshield to avoid.

Mark Mullin is afraid to drive around in DC because of carjacking, but he is not afraid to be a part of highjacking our democracy. Democrats buckle up as the crash is gonna be bad if we don't stop the GOP.

That's the funniest thing this asshole has ever said. The sad part is that he didn't mean it to be. He honestly wants people to believe that bullshit.

I fully support this dude riding in a vehicle, with a record of rolling, without a seatbelt. Especially at a high rate of speed. What could go wrong, Markwayne? Let that freak flag fly, I say!

Does anyone know how that other genius who moved his wife and kids there because school told his daughter there were lesbians is doing. I wonder about him ( laugh) every day. Is he enjoying the family values on the front line?

Threat inflation: This is the act of creating exaggerated concern for a threat that goes beyond what a neutral analysis would justify, often leading people to focus on lesser risks while overlooking more serious ones.

the latest facts just don't seem to align with their narrative There is an unmistakable and large drop in reported violence in the District since the summer of 2023.That downward trend is consistent with what’s being reported in other large cities across the country counciloncj.org/crime-in-was...

counciloncj.orgCrime in Washington, DC: What You Need to Know - Council on Criminal JusticeFollowing President Trump's announcement about federal efforts to combat crime in Washington, DC, this brief examines trends for eight different crime types in the nation's capital going back to 2018.

I thought the man with two first names was supposed to be some sort of tough guy. If you’re that scared you can always retire and move back home and hide in your basement. Win-win for the country.

So afraid of a carjacking, thats what he said. Such a liar, you know? Im fearful of being attacked by men just like him when I drive alone in my car. I still wear my seat belt because it's the law. It's all such bullshit, everything out of MAGA mouths.

Isnt sad that it seems the only way to rid ourselves of the evil would be to essentially hope for their death? There has to be another way, and yet no one has discovered it.

Open letter to the DC Police: How can you help the very man who sent his minions to the Capitol Jan. 6th and attacked your officers? What in the hell is the matter with you? Trump released the people who attacked you!

Here's an idea: if you're so afraid of getting carjacked in DC either walk, take the bus, or better yet - go back home to Oklahoma, which has the 15th highest violent crime rate in the U.S.

He didn’t mention he can’t even drive a standard because nobody can carjack a stick shift anymore. Which is to say, he would be safer from carjacking with a standard tranny in his vehicle, but they’re not ready to have that conversation.

That’s the Republican playbook. Transit losing ridership due to service cuts because of funding issues? Cut more funding and service to punish Metro! School test scores dropping? Cut education funding to punish the Children! Healthcare costs too high? Cut healthcare funding to punish the Poor!

Even more to the point Why are they, the criminal administration, staying in DC? Their own crimes ARE the crime stats Rape Pedophilia Insurrection Fraud Corruption Animal cruelty Treason Assault Tax evasion

DC is not the Chocolate City anymore! I have lived in the City for 12 years, and the only problem my neighbor and I have had is White men stealing our packages. White men are trying to break into our homes—white men defecating on our grass. Cops will come arrest-let them out the next day.

I repeat my offer for frightened fragile male creatures - #GrantifaGuardians are standing by. These hardy grandmas routinely walk the streets of DC and can provide security for scaredy cat Republicans. They roam about fearlessly and can show you how to walk DC streets.

How many times has he been carjacked in DC?? How many times has he personally witnessed any carjacking? If you combine both I'll bet it's still less than 1

It's a really Good Old Boy sounding name. Some FBI profiler from the early days pointed out that most serial killers and violent criminals usually have the names Wayne or Dwayne as middle names. He may be trying to keep himself out of that category by merging the two.

The most place to get carjacked is Bakersfield, California. A Republican part of the state. Washington DC isn't even in the top 10 cities for carjackings. Mullin's claimed fear of carjacking is obviously fear of Black people. Just pathetic.

The boogieman excuse works every time. Im all for you not wearing your seatbelt (or helmet), the problem is when you get rescued, put in a hospital, and we have to pay and deal with your self inflicted coma. So, if you didnt wear your seatbelt (or helmet), then we leave you there to die. Deal?
