COLBERT: How dumb do you think it is for people to say that I should run for president? OBAMA: Well, you know, the bar has changed. I think you would perform significantly better than some folks we've seen. COLBERT: Is that an endorsement? OBAMA: It was not

I would subscribe to that! But not on Amazon. Or Disney. Or Paramount. Or Fox. Or... I may have to get back to you on this one.

HEY NOW, President Zelenskyy is doing Tremendously Well for Ukraine. Intelligence and the ability to see both side of a coin at the same time is the Genius of Comedy.

I love that guy. I miss him. If he were still president, Colbert would not have been fired for expressing his freedom-of- speech. I will miss Colbert, too! Shame on CBS.🤑😈

Not sure what you needed at the time, but he sure as hell did a whole lot for a shit-ton of people. He is, and will remain, one of the most revered and beloved presidents in history.

Despite it all, Obama has an incredible sense of humor and Colbert taking this political hit job in stride is amazing. I am sure he will end on top at the end.

He just comes across as so likeable, the polar opposite of the angry bitter old incompetent and verbally (and maybe literally) incontinent fool currently in the job…. 🙄😒

I’m 100% behind Colbert running for President. Americans fucking HATE politicians. He’s smart and obviously intellectually curious. Experience? Obama was just a State Sen and brief US Senator. Colbert can get an experienced politician for VP. Chris Murphy?

Well, Obama was also one of the most educated legal and Constitutional scholars of modern times. But Colbert is definitely one of the most qualified people we've had since the middle of last century if not further back.

As per your profile name, I had an interesting thought, I have not done anything "Since birth" due to the fact that I wasnt alive until almost ten minutes after I was born.

Obama is an amazing great and intelligent man and was a great president espc enduring the challenge dealing with McConnell as Senate majority leader who spent too much time trying to screw Obama during his term and Mitch turned the R party very ugly overall

Remarkably sharp and personable. Can you imagine what this would look like with Trump in the chair? Republican slander is so laughably projective that you have to assume they're intentionally trying to lower the bar so they never have to compete at a Clinton/Gore or Obama/Biden level again.

Biden was filler for an agenda that still had a gap in it. He was the "anything but Trump" vote... MAGA merchandising and propaganda had more thrust. And so here we are. Gap bridged. Where democracy held the door open for fascism to return. But all things have a season.

Longing for the days when we had a POTUS with a genuinely good sense of humor instead of the Shecky Greene wannabe we have now who acts like he's a nightclub headliner every time he gives a speech - and whose humor is cringe-worthy.

A fun and informative interview. Love listening to men who are highly intelligent, respectful of each other. Would love to visit former president Barack Obama’s presidential library.
