It's pretty telling that his strategy relies on "intercessory prayers" rather than persuading voters.

House Speaker Mike Johnson says he grows more confident "with each passing day" that the GOP will retain control of Congress. Why? "This is a God thing. We have intercessory prayers who are on the ground at the Capitol praying."

Interesting as there are millions around the world praying that American voters wake up and vote the corrupt and redundant politicians out of office. Guess we will see who Mike’s God listens to?

"Intercessory prayers who are on the ground at the Capitol," meaning people in DC praying for the GOP to win the midterms. Yep...a bunch of good old boys are terrified they will be prosecuted for crimes, if the Democrats win...indeed, they are praying.

You just keep on believing that God thing, bro. Those of us who want real change are gonna do the only thing that really works: voting for it. But sure, thoughts and prayers, buddy. Thoughts.... and prayers.

The Sermon on the Mount. All you need to know. Most of the old testament is telling stories of prophets sent by God to teach the Jewish people to change their evil ways. Jesus was sent as a last resort. Johnson and his cronies can pray all they want, their actions prove what they are, evil.

Oh! I'm praying all day every day also ... for World Peace 🕊️ and for Justice to be done to these greedy complete liars!!! Just ⚖️ sayin' and Prayin' 🙏🏼👈🏼

This is why I’ve abandoned organized religion altogether. I would rather focus on being a good human being and serve those needing help in my community. I’m not sure Jesus wants people to pray blindly for republican victories when their values oppose His teachings? Let’s ask the Pope how he feels.

A stark reminder that our country is currently run by a cult of lunatics & liars. The majority of which are Republicans. He actually believes U.S. policy changes by divine providence. He continues to lie about the framers of the Constitution and their vision for the country. Or, it's all a con.

I pray daily he goes and fucks himself but it's only fucking regular Americans that interests him and he gets top marks for that. Yet my prayers go unheard.

A. Those prayers are wasting their time. B. If there was a god - a truly Christian god - to hear them she’d either IGNORE then or, more probably , strike them down for disobeying and lying about the Gospels. C. Little Mike is a contemptible, smarmy moron boy who’s also a traitor.

For a weirdo who claims to be a holier-than-thou Christian, Mikey’s behavior is rather hate-driven. Some might describe him as evil. It would be refreshing if he started to behave in a way that Christ taught.

He might be surprised at who else is praying! I’m not exactly sure why he expects Jesus to approve his agenda, or anyone’s agenda for that matter. Me? I just ask God to put things right.
