No because they’re getting paid a lot and are also cowards

no

No, because their guys are the grunts and they are the kings.

after the shit with mick gordon i trust hugo and marty as far as i can throw them.

"I still have legs" insists id software product manager

No because that ms retirement package is sweet

have to assume at this point they all got there by being craven cowards

they don’t believe they’re making art or care about it either. They cut loose or kept the sword of damocles hanging over most of the ones that did

It's so depressing that Microsoft bought up a massive chunk of the industry and then threw it away because they can only make a few percent profit compared to the orders of magnitude more in AI. Capitalism will just always ruin art

yes and no. It's still a big chunk, pretty sure less now, though couldn't say exactly how much. And yes AI isn't profitable but it's more equivalent to hot potato, as long as you're not left holding when the music stops, it is profitable with investment. The gamble still remains though

I feel like if they did, they'd be on the cutting board instantly.

Bro really saying

“We haven’t been cut down to 50 people, we actually have 75!” is uh, a statement

in order to reach such a position, etc etc

if they were they probably wouldn't be xbox studio leads

They're probably forced to say nice things about the higherups otherwise they're threatened with redundancy

...not if they wanna keep their jobs, seemingly.
