Kojima announces the cancellation of Physint pushed to 2029

Giving Halo to Activision just screams "I don't know anything about Halo, but Activision makes shooters that sell, so let's give it to them"

It's why I'm not worried about having to boycott the new new NEW new version of Starcraft Ghost they're working on; don't have to try very hard to avoid a buying something that doesn't exist.

I did that stupid fucking “9 games that defined you” thing but hadn’t uploaded the image and I put Halo 3 as one of those games lmao. God.

There will be games still after the crash, it's just that nobody's going to be able to make anything above the scope of Big Walk until 2035.

Those companies use AI as tools, but Microsoft is the one selling and investing in AI. Nintendo and Sega could care less if the data centers go bust, but for Microsoft and all the studios under their umbrella it could be an existential crisis.

This literally started happening the moment Kaz got out and Sony (SCE) got western execs. Its a western thing.

guys who are hogging ai at bigger levels, banned unions and been eating shit due to monopolies for 100 years nonstop? yeah, im sure theyre about to own aa slop like wolverine by making third drakengard gacha.

There are thousands of games released by hundreds of developers every year. What the fuck are you talking about?

doing what they did to creative assemblies and the others but instead of being over a several year period it's like 4 times in a year

And also a bunch of european studios iirc

We said similar, especially when people were dismissing that maybe they'd not really do anything about the endemic problems at Activision and Blizzard. (Beyond removing Kotick, which at one point they weren't even gonna do, they haven't. *Sighs.*)

Oh, I never said they'd be any good.

If they can replace all devs with AI it'll be good for stonks, which is the only product of a publicly traded company

Extremely well said. I hate this timeline
