The date for the next No Kings Day is set. But this is a save the date, not a “sit back and wait.” 🧵

We give as much advance notice as possible for No Kings Days so we have the time to make them massive, world-historic days of defiance. But us and our coalition partners don’t set aside a few special days a year to fight the tyranny of this regime. That’s the work we’re doing every single day.

The No Kings coalition will be running ongoing ICE watch trainings to prepare as many Americans as possible to non-violently protect themselves and their neighbors from an increasingly fascist secret police. Our first Eyes on ICE training brought in over 200,000 people. We hope to train millions.

A big part of why we do No Kings is to bring new activists into the ongoing organizing work it’s going to take to defeat authoritarianism. We need people protesting regularly. Calling their elected officials. Joining community groups. Building for a movement — not just a moment.

The last one of these I was at, the biggest confrontation was a boomer lady yelling at someone for saying "ACAB" into a megaphone. The cops wear yellow vests and t-shirts. That's how I know these are good exclusively for optics - the cops don't even take precautions.

Tbh liberals need to take a class or something about etiquette in leftist spaces. Approaching a table that's handing out anarchist literature and then screaming at them for saying "ACAB"...just go home. I don't want to miss these things bc I feel obligated, but they feel like a cynical distraction.

ABSOLUTELY INSANE TO FUND A VIOLENT LAWLESS MASKED MILITIA THAT KILLS AMERICANS WITH ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY. NO EFFIN WAY. Call Congress & demand ACCOUNTABILITY! Support all in fight for rule of law w/ Democracy Forward, ACLU, 5calls, 50501, DSCC, Indivisible, & all who break thru. No apathy! ACT

Please don’t call it that this time. Trump thinks kings are cool and right wing media plays dumb and says he’s never said he was a king what are you talking about? Last one was covered as big but dorky and lacking youthful vigour. Branding doesn’t meet the moment. Fully support just being honest!

America 🇺🇸 It’s time to slap some handcuffs on these powerful people that until today, has not been held accountable for their heinous acts against these innocent children! This has gone on far too long without any accountability, it’s heartbreaking 💔 Arrest Pedo🚔 #DemVoice1 #DemsUnited #ProudBlue

Great work Indivisible! Can you help with this? I think THE PEOPLE OF MINNEAPOLIS should be nominated for the NOBEL PEACE PRIZE. Only eligible persons can make a nomination. Do you know anyone? If so can you ask them please? THE DEADLINE IS 1st FEBRUARY !! Thank you.

Meanwhile, @indivisiblemn03.org's Minnetonka Wednesday Weekly Protest goes into its thirty-ninth consecutive week this week, with record-breaking attendance two weeks and maybe again today. Come join us! We're not cold! #NoKings #IceOutOfMinnesota www.mobilize.us/indivisiblem...

mobilize.usMinnetonka Wednesday Weekly Protest · Indivisible MN03The Minnetonka Wednesday Weekly Protest has continued since the first week of May 2025 with no breaks, rain or shine. You can sign up in advance for the Wednesday of your choice to receive a detailed arrangements memo including answers to frequently asked questions. You are encouraged to invite your friends, neighbors, relatives, and co-workers to join us any Wednesday from 4:15pm to 6:00pm Central Standard Time. (When daylight saving time begins we will return to our summer schedule of 4:30pm to 6:30pm CDT.) Arrive when you are able; leave when when you need to. We gather on the public sidewalks and grassy banks along the road margins at the intersection of Minnesota State Highway 7 and County Road 101 in Minnetonka where we display our hand-made signs. The busy intersection features hundreds of drivers and dozens of pedestrians and bicyclists who are encouraged by our presence each week. We build up our own morale and turn the tide of public opinion in our community. We have consistently stood up in public for more than half a year in all kinds of weather; this weekly event doesn't ever get cancelled. We will expand our coalition and keep going. Trump will be out of office before we stop protesting. All local protests organized by Indivisible MN03 are peaceful, legal, nonviolent, family-friendly exercises of first amendment rights in public places.

Our Indivisible group jumped the gun and got our No Kings registered before the map came out. Is there any way to get our currently existing event on the map?? We are hoping not to have to do a whole new event but please let me know if there's no other way!

Not complaining. US history is not for Canadians to judge. But original Boston Tea thing might have been a bit hasty? Seems even in "the Commonwealth" we've had easier job regulating monarchy than oligarchy. And Governor Generals do provide some non-partisan protection of constitutions. There's that

Respectfully, speaking as a Canadian, why not calling it No Tyrants Day instead? You probably know where I'm going with this so I won't elaborate further, except to ask that you look at our respective histories, right up to Jan 6 2021, and review where No Kings vs Kings has taken our 2 democracies.

Because they’re completely unserious and are riding their coattails on the previous “protests.” They have no specific actionable demands and could instead be calling for a general strike but aren’t for reasons unknown. ps thanks for support up north, was @ no tyrants in Toronto and it was uplifting

Not complaining. "Unserious" is not for me to judge. But the original Boston Tea thing might have been a bit hasty? Hey I put in my hosting for No Kings/No ICE at Biscayne Blvd at Miami FL last month and it says its still pending. I'd like for it to be approved soon please.

Majorly effective would be getting Pam Bondi disbarred, but the Florida Bar Association refuses to entertain ethics complaints against her bec she is the AG. What about a focused pressure campaign aimed at the Florida Bar, rallies, marches, petitions, postcards, letters to the Florida news editors?

So mobilize. Nothing about this is stopping you it anyone else from protesting, supporting local groups and mutual aid, talking to your neighbors, friends and family, contacting your representatives at the state and local level, etc.

As suggested earlier, you can find an Indivisible group in your area and begin volunteering and protesting with them, locally. Local protests are effective, too. I understand the reasoning for a big protest NOW, but we can and should start locally.

This is great. It's essential. And I know you need to have advance notice. But 2 months? Too late. I agree with the other responses. We need to join MN in a General Strike on Friday - day after tomorrow. Don't make Minneapolis do it alone.

We must continue the good work Renee and Alex accomplished. Standing up for our Rights against a tyrannical government and Protecting future Americans. See you in OUR Streets.

25th Amendment He's starting a war with Iran and creating chaos to avert from Epstein. Alex and Renee. Start advocating for it or the irrational and irresponsible deaths of so many people will rest on us. Call your representatives.

You no doubt will but please post early and often on the reddit Chicago and Illinois subs. There are always choruses of “why didn’t I know about this protest or rally????” Thanks so much for all you are doing.

Thank GOD. We only have to wait 2 months before we can raise some HELL!! I don't care what you say, a save the date is absolutely a sit back and wait signal.

Agree. But 1) They aren’t saying do nothing else until then. We need to keep building our local resistance & mutual aid. And 2) We need to organize 1 million people in DC. It took MLK 3 mos to organize marchers, transportation, infrastructure. See you there! ✊🏽🤜🤛✊🏽

#NoKings events are fine, but they don’t make much impact Other than for a brief glimpse on local news who cares about the turnout in Columbia, MD? We need another truly memorable generational march on Washington It is time for a 1,000,000+ person march in the shadow of the Washington Monument

No Kings: Instead of having a general strike now were going to hold signs on the side of the road 8 weeks from now…typical liberal halfstepping. Liberals need to step aside and let leftists take the lead, were better at fighting fascism than they are.

I appreciate these days of protest - and have helped organize them locally. But we need more than nation-wide days of protest. We need a sustained and strategic campaign to inflict economic and other kinds of (non-violent) damage on those who have their hands on the levers of power.

This is how you know that the larger group heading this is unserious and not fully committed. They’re planning 2 months in advance for a single day of weekend marching when instead they could be planning for a general strike that is days long with the size of their platform.

Sorry, but no. We've done that- he doesn't care about that. What he cares about are the Epstein Files. Want to really do something? Make the next rally "Release the Epstein Files" & carry that nationwide. That will be saying something, and that pressure can make a difference. That's what he fears!

Why are there only white rich organizations on here making money off of racism but want even respond back to black and brown people that are impacted by the very same thing you’re talking about.

Black people have been enslaved by your ancestors now to use what’s happen to them in today’s climate and not even connect with them is racist af The revolution will start but it will not be how you think

I know there's already a lot of brand equity in "No Kings" and we want it to be bigger than ever, but hear me out... "March For The Constitution." Who can say no to that?! PLEASE!!

My hope is that on March 28, there will be massive efforts (if your state allows) to register people to vote at the protests and show up at the ballot box - by this point in time, some states will have primary elections ongoing (and they matter), along with special elections in important key races.

There is rationale for planning these massive coordinated protests in advance. They have grown by approximately 2 million people every protest since the first Hands Off in April through the second No Kings in October.

Allowing time for preparation and coordination helps to ensure that these SPECIFIC days of action continue to grow exponentially and not lose momentum, with a definite goal of hitting the 3.5% of the population mark.
