These polls are bullshit. Anyone can check a box or press a number on a phone in response to a survey question. It’s meaningless. Show me who they vote for, if they even vote at all, and that will tell me what they support.

I heard another stupid corporate Dem use that exact phrase today. It's apparently a centrist Dem talking point now. I can't believe I can't remember who it was that said it, but they were a guest on MS NOW.

I propose making corporations pay the full cost of their externalities, with a further tax to reflect any non-economic harms. Plus generous living wages for all. Also, money out of elections. Abolish all PACs.

You have to change the way it’s enforced, which is more complicated. Most of these people own stock (which has market value but it’s unrealized) and take loans against it when they need cash, which then goes untaxed. Gotta overhaul the entire way property works to make any of this stick.
