LOL. I just assume that people not demanding their states have permanent mail voting are also just going and hanging out at the DMV for no good reason.

We voted last week it took us about 15 minutes. My county opened several more early voting locations this week we wanted to be able to say we already voted when talking to people at the No Kings rally last weekend

Way to go, Texas! Campaigns receive nightly reports listing who voted that day—NOT for whom you voted. Voting early allows campaigns to focus on lower-propensity voters and therefore increases our turnout numbers! We need huge turnout numbers in TX and elsewhere! VOTE in numbers to big to rig!

THIS. Vote Blue: Too Big To Rig. Massive organized turnout in Serbia and Hungary: Bye-bye klepto-dictators. OUR turn. Voted? Then 👉🏼CANVAS👈🏼 from 🏠 for your favorite Democratic candidates.

What people need to know is that Plano is an upper middle class area of Dallas and it’s Dems that usually vote early. This is a good thing!

I voted early yesterday in Houston & waited in long line. It moved quickly & everyone in line WANTED to be there to cast their ballot. No one said who they were voting for but we all NEEDED TO BE THERE so our voices would be heard. All of us in line were happy to be there no one complained.

Nothing says "the future of democracy" quite like a physical queue in front of a library. We’ve digitized the entire human experience just to stand in a line for a piece of paper. Peak analog.

I'm currently in the DFW metro visiting my daughter and there are some serious sign wars happening. Talarico has a billboard, the regular signs seem big. I guess everything is bigger here. I saw many polling places while out and they were pretty busy

Yup! Library in San Antonio, 2.5 hr line. They replaced 20 year workers. Didn't recognize even one. Regugnants had the lot's center spot w/this up, & a huge 8'x8' sign saying *Vote repug, rid USA of SOCIALIST COMMUNISM* w/1 guy manning it. in 2.5 hours not 1 person joined him. Not ONE.

Was getting angry reading this, the evil suppression … then PLEASED by your cogent observation. MAGA is deflating. Pre-Tea Party “lunatic fringe”? Help destroy EVERY last hurrah of the fascist plague (Bye-Bye incompetents Shumer & Jeffries).

Each vote represents a soul determined and committed to save the country. It doesn’t look easy standing in the sun for who knows how long. Some of these people probably never voted before. And they are voting blue. I feel it in my waters.

🤔 A couple nuances. We like long lines of motivated voters that MOVE. We HATE long lines outside polls that purposely run out of ballots. Long lines = commitment. We LOVE 45 minute long marches by Black university student voters (fueled by history) angered by lost polling places. Best? By Mail.

I voted today in NC and it has never felt so good. I grabbed that q tip and punched the screen for every Democrat, thinking TAKE THAT, Donald AND THAT AND THAT. Highly recommend 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻.

I'm voting later this week, hopefully to avoid crowds. In 2024, I was in a long line to vote for Harris 3 days after early voting started.

Those folks are not queueing to vote for trumpf. The GOP must be very afraid. Hard to believe they could be so obstinate and ignorant, for so long, in the face of life-changing realty. ✌️💙

I like that method of voting for 3 reasons: convenience, my vote is pen on PAPER (easy to recount/certify) and they confirm via email, at least in Cook County, IL, that your ballot was “received”. 👍

All GOP states have been engaging in "Election Fraud" for 4 decades. Recent 2015 GOP States Election Fraud was not being reported by Corp Media, only tiny local papers/internet site reported it. Closing polls only in Dem areas is Election Fraud. everytexan.org/2024/10/16/t...

Very unfortunate that this happened but I think in the end, or rather, in the future, lessons are learned from this experience and I hope that we all get this behind us (very hard though I believe) and etch in place ways for this never to happen again…

Agree. In my county in NC we only have two locations for early voting with 60,000 adults (this sounds stupidly undercounted to me with road traffic and new subdivisions mushrooming). We will vote early regardless! Yes, NC where they closed campus polls 4 uni students! www.wfdd.org/politics-gov...

It’s insane that not every state has easy mail in voting. In Colorado, all registered voters get a ballot by mail by default, as it should be. I haven’t waited in line to exercise my right to vote in years.

Proud of each and everyone of these folks. It is our responsibility to participate in our elections. And to hold our “representatives” accountable. #VoteBlue

I hope they intend to vote blue, because this state has been a shithole since they've kept voting for republicans for 30 years. Maybe reflect on that before they mark their ballots.

OH here. I voted today and I was unbelievably amazed at the numbers of people and soooo many seniors like myself, struggling with health conditions (paramedic here do I understood what I was seeing) who said out loud, this is the most important vote of my life! Hell yeah! 💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙

Everyone everywhere needs to vote in the Midterms. VOTE AS IF YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT, BECAUSE IT DOES. This could be our most important election. If a Blue Tsunami takes over Congress, then that Russian Asset in the WH gets bottled up and becomes mostly caged and inert.

Holy cow!!! Crooked GOP to blame for closing voting sites. If this turn out continues for 15 days it looks like trumpy gonna experience what the lamest lame duck ever in us presidential history feels like. Trump is going to let James Buchanan off the hook. Only the best.

I know it's a different situation here, but Massachusetts opened early voting Saturday and it was the busiest I have ever seen. I always try to vote early and a lot of people had the same idea.

I haven’t been yet, but if it like last time the lines are long because they switched us to paper ballots. We had touch screens that had language and ADA choices. Now we have scantrons with pencils. At least there are no amendments this time. Going tomorrow. If is paper I’m running next time.

Probably very few, but maybe long enough to miss the vote. I think they are going to try and rig it ANY WAY POSSIBLE. They will pull out all the stops. And if it's an overwhelming majority of DEM, they are going to SUE the entire country between Nov and January. Maybe violence also.

Less about racial intimidation (and individual victimization) through wanton government violence as constructing a PHONY LEGAL BASIS for MAGA racist martial law in Blue states of choice. No doubt considering making the Democratic Party itself an illegal conspiracy. RICO. Start with Black women …

I voted by mail. Some Americans cannot, due to Republican misrule. Blue state vs some Red states. The underlying issue isn’t efficiency but VOTER SUPPRESSION. Those who wait for hours (lines that barely move) are committed to REMOVE evil “electeds” that eliminated options. Archaic by design.

Not necessarily. There were lines out the door of the Grapevine TX library also, and it's not a poor community. Just a LOT of people. I'll probably vote at Southlake later this week.

A caller from rural Alabama to Air America Radio, Mike Malloy's show about 2007 said every election a sheriff parks on the road to polling station with his lights flashing. All towns people know what's happening. Anyone driving to vote is going to be pulled over.

That’s a ridiculous line! Last night I celebrated No Kings/Vote Early weekend by strolling 2 blocks to my local secured ballot drop here in SF, and dropped my ballot. Already have an email saying it’s been picked up and it’s on its way to being counted.

Dear god, I hope Texas surprises me and does the right thing, and votes all the disgusting Republicans out of office. Frankly, I don't have a lot of confidence...but I CAN HOPE.

I was thinking “good”, only for “midterms” that would make it exceptionally high. Thank your Mom, from “us”. Defending enfranchisement —and voter participation— is everything! —Chicagoan

That's called "voter suppression." Not everyone has enough time off from work to stand in line and the Republicans use that to their advantage by closing polling places. Keep voting, #Plano!

Im so impressed with all the Americans taking part in early voting. Your determination to vote is inspiring. It makes me feel really lucky to live in the UK where we have no difficulty getting to a polling station to vote or making a postal vote. Our problem is too few bother.
