For all y'all with Raspberry Pi's in drawers. Curious. Why did you buy it and why did it end up in a drawer? Happy Friday!

but justin, those go in the same corner/box with all of the cables that I might need someday. (I have a 4 and some picos I'll send you, DM incoming)

Hey Justin - We've got some budget at the Rocky Enterprise Software Foundation for some SBCs for the community--maybe we could allocate a bit for this project? Happy to talk more :)

Missed the opportunity to submit a workshop for kids proposal. Was planning on using a raspberry pi based robotic car I put together to help newbies learn programming. If I send you the assembled kits, would you be able to hand them at socal expo along with the other stuff you are handling out?

I got good use out of my old pi b's. They started as my demo at @tremolo.io booth at the first kubecon in Seattle in 2016 a multitenant kubernetes cluster! I got some weird looks. Last one of those that still work is running as a DNS masq server for my lab for a little while longer.

Of course it's all automated detection and not checked by a seismologist but it can give data from otherwise under-monitored spots, and the USGS even uses them for quick deployment until they can get more complex seismometers to a spot, like American Samoa last year
