Highest total turnout in an Israeli election this century was 72.3% This is going to crush that

Israel turnout update: 66.7% as of 6pm (polls are open until 10pm local time, after which the lines close and the polls close after the last voter in line as of 10pm has voted) WILD turnout. For comparison, 66.6% is the highest turnout rate in Federal elections since at least 2002

For now.
It’s now clear that Big Tech companies believe AI enables them to operate with fewer employees. Hiring of junior workers has slowed, layoffs continue, and Microsoft is now offering buyouts to 60,000 employees. Tech jobs will increasingly lie in smaller tech companies and businesses outside tech.

This isn't really fair to gifted kids who aren't trained teachers and don't know how to teach. It's also not fair to the kids who are struggling and need actual, targeted instruction from an adult who knows how to help kids with learning difficulties.
"But what do we do with the gifted kids, they'll just sit in class and twiddle their thumbs?" I don't know, I guess it's impossible for them to help their classmates, or work on a project in class that uses their curiosity and also teaches their classmates something. <shrug> Guess we can't!

Neither of these justices are going to retire. Ever. Alito doesn't believe the Republic could possibly survive without him. Thomas knows his "dear friends" will no longer support the lifestyle for which he has become accustomed. Roberts is more likely to ever retire than Alito or Thomas.
My armchair analysis of Supreme Court Retirement Watch is that I genuinely don't think Trump wanted or wants Alito or Thomas to retire, because Alito and Thomas are already the Trump administration's de facto representatives on the Court, and I'm not sure he could find anyone better

Agreed, which is odd you're so willing to accept antisemites.
Any politician who’s willing to throw away one group’s rights is willing to throw away everyone’s rights. It’s that simple. Every single consultant, pundit and candidate who’s shown a willingness to abandon trans rights needs to be shunned from the party forever
