he got what he wanted. a delay. what a joke. He rubbed it in their face by campaigning and going to mara lago and saying it was of national importance. Contempt charges and held without bail would have things move. But delay delay delay. just how they want it. the system needs huge overhaul

it'll be dismissed .. it was just Trump's throwing shit against the wall to see what sticks. His other grifts have been sufficiently lucrative he won't care.

He will do what he always does, just ignore it, get it dismissed to avoid sharing anything, then make up some lies for his cult base knowing they will believe anything, they think Greenland is part of the US now, so...

A man's reputation may be worth ten billion dollars to himself, but the truth is worth considerably more to the republic. An oath is a small price for a man who claims the truth is on his side, and a mighty expensive one for a man who fears it.

He’s going to drop the suit before that happens. He’ll consider all the money they had to spend on legal counsel due to his bogus suit, a win.

Sure, it's good that he's been order to sit for deposition. But... he was originally supposed to be deposed Oct 16th and he got to kick that can down-the-road until after the mid-terms. And who is to say he won't ask for (and get) another delay? Seems like courts ALWAYS grant him extra time.

He can bully CBS and other US media but I think it’s crazy that he thinks he can bully a foreign media corp without going through the legal process. BBC won’t bend the knee and ‘settle’. Way to go BBC

Prediction: If Trump testifies in the BBC case and is later found to have lied under oath, congressional Republicans will say that lying under oath is no big deal and not a subject worthy of impeaching the president over.

I think he'd rather have it dismissed than to have everything that will be said under threat of perjury and in discovery become public.

That's his modus operandi in every case: filing baseless lawsuits seeking spectacularly high damages. His goal is never a court ruling, but always an out-of-court settlement—and he's been raking it in for 4,000 cases. As some say this number…

Let us also not lose sight of the fact that the BBC has requested all of his financial records (presumably to determine the validity of said "10 billion dollars in losses". This combined with Pedo-Rapist-Treasonist-F47 having to sit for a deposition will cause him to drop the suit.

No way he sits for a taped interview. He'll sue the judge within a week 🙄

Except his corrupt attorneys will appeal and delay in every way possible, and the December date will come and go and Trump won't show. Just like the ridiculous dance with Todd Blanche. Judges rule, Trump and his co-criminals ignore and get away with it every time. Travesty of justice.

It’ll be dismissed, and he’ll get a sound bite saying ‘you know they agreed with me? They did and we won that one by a lot. Strong. Very strong case I won there.’ And the MSM will parrot it.

Will anyone really hold him accountable though? All he does is delay delay delay and lies all day. So tired of no one with any courage to hold this massively corrupt pedophile war criminal accountable. #VoteBlue

There's no way Trump can be deposed at length w/o revealing his dementia and unfitness for office. A deposition is too long and can not be stage-managed the way his short public events are. That's why they're demanding no recording and desperate to put it off or avoid it.

We're past the "HE can't cover up his criming" stage and into the "THEY can't cover up his mental incompetency" stage. How long they've already been in this stage is a good question.

So he's been given an out. He'll continue to dodge the deposition. Then when it's thrown out, he will whine all over TV and unTruth Social about how unfair the courts treat him. Avoiding looking like the Taco he is and dropping the case himself.
