The people yearn for RAT

This would be a fun idea for a dungeon monster (since you can find coins on regular animals in video games) Its a construct that scours the dungeon for loose change and riches and explodes into a pile of money on destruction. Multiple ones can fuse into a rat king for self defense.

Finally, a purse that bites back, I no longer have to worry about thieves trying to steal my precious coins with this bad boy

That looks like an enemy in an RPG that would run away quickly but drop tons of money if defeated.
