My understanding of the “Deep State” are the group of wealthy oligarchs who control the politicians. I could be wrong.

Voting should be obligatory in the USA, as it is in Australia. It improves democracy since everyone has to participate and therefore engage in the process.

The issue I have with Robert Reich is that he’s always talking about taxing the rich more. Which is fine, but it doesn’t actually help out the poor and middle class. You have to actually have a plan to put dollars into the poor and middle class’s pockets, and make sure they know who it came from

I'm having a hard time getting people to understand the obvious. Trump can't take office until both chambers of Congress vote on the 14th Amendment Sec 3 to vacate or not. It take a 2/3 majority. This is not optional, it's the law.

He possesses a trifecta but lacks a mandate. Any Senate vote in his favor would necessitate unanimous Republican support, given the extremely narrow margin.
