There's ignorance, and there's stupidity. Ignorance is not knowing the answer to something, as you have either nottaken or been given the opportunity to research something. Stupidity is having a staff, access to the internet, time to conduct research or at least be fed talking points by that staff.

My girl failed eighth grade and I told them to hold her back. if she couldn't do the work in 8th grade she wasn't going to do the work in 9th grade. They agreed and then a week before they change their mind. They said she was too mature and then admitted they wouldn't get the $6,600 if she failed

Wrong, wrong and wrong. Still say we need people who run for elected office to pass some kind of basic cognitive/knowledge test. Candidates can’t be trusted to speak the truth, and apparently voters can’t be trusted to choose wisely.
