perhaps a better Harvard play would be a foreign student extension campus in 🇨🇦. while at it, move the Kennedy School of Gov’t north too. isn’t the 🇨🇦 PM a Harvard grad? w/Harvard’s endowment & some financial aid from the 🇨🇦 Gov., very possible. close enough for faculty to commute. what a coup for 🇨🇦!

If Einstein had been around in the stone age it would have remained the stone age whatever he did, because there was no education or body of knowledge he could have built on. He'd have been a really good flint knapper, and that's about it. This is what conservatives want for everyone.

This is awesome. I’m hoping some of the maggots get in there and take advantage of this free course, but I’m not sure they have the intelligence to understand it!

Now is time for Harvard to move it's research arm to one of its satellite sites overseas and seek $$ from govts that truly care about "research" that will benefit the world. A site that will not restrict who can or cannot study/research there.

Thanks for posting this! There’s always more to learn. However the people who need this information: 1. Don’t care 2. Have low reading comprehension 3. Think they know everything

The American Rev. stemmed from the vision of a different form of gov’t, one based on the consent of the governed rather than the dictates of a king. That founding vision with its emphasis on liberty, equality, individualism, and self-gov’t became the foundation of the American political culture.

Just a heads up that Harvard has been providing these exact free classes, for years, through their EdX auditing. They have a long liat of free classes that you can take for no credit; $125 for certificate of completion. I wish people cared about resources before they become politicized.

It wasn't an aggressive comment. I was just letting people know there are a lot more free classes available, and they aren't at risk of disappearing before people can get to them because they've been up for a while. :)

Oooh ok ok. I understand. I registered for one. The course is free but they have the certification for $150. I can't say I went to Harvard now cause I don't have proof. But I know I did 😁

When I went to the site, I already had an account. I vaguely remember signing up for it during COVID lockdowns. (I signed up for a computer programming class)

I love auditing classes anywhere that will let me! They are such a great resource for building skills and deepening understanding of lots of topics. I'm taking some free Advocacy and Fundraising classes from PhilanthropyU's website right now, as well.

The people who need to read it probably don’t have sufficient education to do so. Maybe they could put out a “Dummies” edition? Excellent series for all kinds of things the average person needs help with.

I was a bit of a dreamer as a little kid. At 8 years old, in 1970, I told everyone I knew that I was going to attend Harvard! Yes, a kid from the South with no sense of the realities of life. But I knew it was where I should have been. I did not go there. Graduated from UF instead. Go Gators!

What a unique way to make a point and perhaps help people understand what is happening to their country. The lawlessness of this regime shows the need for such a course offering at a bargain price.

Thing is, once you've enrolled and start the material, you know this is old stuff. Now, in 2025, everything is different, the US is on the verge of losing the relevancy of the Declaration of Independence.

Shouldn’t we know that already? Not that I do but I feel we take too much for granted. We shouldn’t be opening the medical book as the patient is dying in front of us. We all need to be more proactive in our democracy and not reactive!
