I actually never had an account on that other place. So I'm sorta new to the whole microblogging thing. This place has a good vibe, though.

You know the old Andy Griffith looking motherfucker in Die Hard 2? The guy eating canned soup and watching an antique TV in a condemned building, 'til he got shot by weirdos? First time I saw that shit, I was like "wow, what a weird life." Joke's on me, now. That is basically my retirement plan.

DAWG, I THOUGHT THESE WERE HALLOWEEN COOKIES, WHERE SOMEONE HAD PUT ORANGE AND WHITE ICING ON PECANS AND SHIT.

*me, with my mouth full, as I unintentionally eat a whole baby turtle* "These are pretty good. I just brought beer and Doritos. You went all out."

If I ever had to go house-hunting on the East Cost, that shit'd get me fucked up. Pencil-skirt-wearing-ass realtor lady, talkin' bout "this is a starter home," and then you find out the shit was built in 1811, and had nine generations of one family live and die in that bitch. FINISHER HOME, BRUH.

I mean, at that point, you got load-bearing ghosts and shit. When four separate women died in childbirth in the same room, how do they even decide who gets to haunt it? And then your 21st Century ass sleeps in there, on your bed you bought off the internet, and unrolled like a scroll.

First 5 TTRPGs played: 1. Paranoia 2. AD&D 2nd Edition 3. Traveller (only one session, to my infinite regret) 4. Star Trek: Prime Directive 1st Edition (very few sessions, also to my regret!) 5. Changeling: The Dreaming Paranoia being my first one is HILARIOUS. I wouldn't have it any other way.

First 5 TTRPGs played: 1. Vampire 2. in Nomine (hiatus I discussed yesterday with one of my doctoral committee members who played D&D & wondered if I had been secretly playing during my PhD. I had not.) 3. D&D 5e 4. Blades in the Dark 5. I truly do not remember? Like, total blank.

Where can I lodge a language complaint? I want someone to address this bullshit with the word "timpani" being used for huge, booming-ass kettle drums. That word sounds like it refers to an adorable, miniature drum. That makes a cute little "pip-pop" sound. There has clearly been a mistake.

This might be the best armor design ever put on screen. None of the rest of the movie matters. This shit justifies the whole film.
