I’ve never heard of a “law enforcement” agency putting an officer who just killed someone back on the street under 24 hours. And that’s because all shootings are treated as homicides pending investigation. This is as clear a sign as you’ll get that DHS personnel enjoy practical immunity from murder.

The president should be impeached and convicted, as should everyone responsible for these outrages. ICE should be disbanded. So should the Department of Homeland Security. And the people who have killed should be investigated and brought before judges and juries.

AND IMPEACH AND REMOVE. We need to clamor for that even if the votes aren't there—yet.

To all those listening or watching the Jack Smith testimony, remind yourself that at no time has any Republican offered a single piece of evidence that contradicts any of Jack Smith’s conclusions about Trump‘s criminal activity regarding the 2020 election.

Whistleblowers just shared a memo showing DHS instructing ICE to force their way into peoples' houses without a proper warrant. Why is this not on all the networks right now? This is a criminal conspiracy to violate rights under color of law.

Even after Trump is gone, the world will remember that he threatened to forcibly seize the territory of a peaceful democratic ally, and our institutions failed to immediately remove him. That makes US dangerously unreliable, not just one senile gangster.

In case anybody on Capitol Hill is wondering, the mood right now out here in the hinterlands is for Democrats not to miss votes. Especially since so many Republicans are out that Dems could pretty much stop anything with full attendance. We are paying attention.
