I was in the Army in the late 80s early 90s under Bush the 1st We had training that would be called DEI today. Back then we understood taking a kid from backwoods GA and putting him in a high stress situation with a kid from the streets of L.A. might cause personnel issues and it should be address.

I’m so sorry that you had to live through that. My rapist was HPV +, which gave me cervical cancer that metastasized to my lymph nodes & spine. I spent 10 years battling cancer before I was declared in remission. The only bright spot was he was convicted & did 15 years in prison. Too many go free 😡
