This tiny device can shrink dangerous blood clots. It’s called the ‘milli-spinner’ and its invention was partly an accident…

Did U C that Japanese researchers invented a blood substitute that works with N E blood type. I wish we had a functional FDA 2 approve it. This is gr8 news especially 4 Jehovah’s Witness. I wonder if it will put blood banks @ plasma centers out of business?

RFK Junior, who is in charge of all medicine and science in this country has a 12th grade science education. I just thought this would be a good time to say that.

A machine that sounds like a sci-fi dream, the milli-spinner is an amazing and proper use of life saving technology! I’m old-ish, and I’m happy to have seen so many advances in medical science in my like so far.

AND bet me this kind of tech is threatened as old orange fuck face ,the whale head eater and the crudite' guy & balless Congress fuck up all the grants earmarked for intended or accidental science bc many MANY discoveries that benefit people sometimes are found as an offshoot or quite by accident

Pretty nice....When I have to clean up a Neuroangio Operating room, I sometimes have to pick up from the floor the thinnest, hardest to pick up wires imaginable....I wonder if those are the mini-spinner ones... They're like the thickness of a hair, luckily, their very long strands I can loop them.🤪

This device will be much safer and less expensive than my life saving surgery for a pulmonary embolism in 2020. The clot was too large for suction.

Wow! This makes me so happy. My mom is at a high risk of brain clots. She doesn't have shared blood flow between the brain hemispheres making surgery impossible. If she ever has a brain clot, I sure hope it'll be after this is an approved treatment. Great job to the inventor(s)!

Clot retrieval for CVA has been approved for several years it just depends on the time/location and access to a neuro interventional radiologist. The cool thing is it creates a much larger window for stroke treatment.

That's great to hear, thanks! She had a quarter-sized aneurysm in her brain (caught early, thank goodness) that was hydro-coiled in lieu of traditional surgery. She has 2 more in there, but they're small & stable. These medical advances saved her. 🤞 advances will continue.
