HA! They've changed it now, but still managed to fumble the sub heading with their backward desperation to underline her correct womanly credentials. @news.sky.com you're a clown show. Why do you even need to so desperately mention that she's married "with has two children"? Just grow up.

I mean, @news.sky.com "Friends" did a thing with this at least 20 years ago, with the male nanny. A man doing a "woman's" job...and that is exactly the same kind of backward thinking you have used with that shitpile of a headline. Do the men in the newsroom still smoke pipes and wear trilbies?

Now, now people. Wind your necks in. @news.sky.com are simply clarifying that Woman is the right kind of woman to be allowed this job, as Woman is a woman, and that is she has married a man, who we all now know, and has pushed out two children. Woman is woman. Perfectly normal in the UK now. JFC!

“History is made as the Right Reverend Dame Sarah Mullally is named as the first woman Archbishop of Canterbury” see even this mere doctor can write better headlines than Sky News! Oh and she’s not just a “former nurse” but the “ a former Chief Nursing Officer for England”

Woman. Heck of a name for the Archbishop of Canterbury. Can’t help noticing your need to attach her first to a man and then to her biological functions (bearing two children). Did you ever get around to, oh say, naming her and telling us her many qualifications FOR THE POSITION?!

I mean, that would make a LOT of sense. "Robes? Why is this feeeeemale wearing clothes at all??"

I genuinely suggest you rewrite this as if a man had been appointed and then change the name, pronouns and personal information. That way you wouldn’t have focused first on her husband and children and would have started with her name, titles and relevant experience for the job.

You guys (definitely GUYS) should be ASHAMED of yourselves. Your casual misogyny is very clear here. Couldn't be bothered to name HER but told us her HUSBAND'S NAME. Deeply sexist BAD journalism. BURIED THE LEDE. A cardinal sin of journalism. How many children she has is irrelevant in a headline.

Thanks to the outrage online I’m pleased to see Sky News have changed their article to at least name Woman in the first paragraph instead of just her husband. That it needed revision shows that women are still identified by MSM by how they relate to a man no matter their accomplishments. Disgusting.
