Bless him, he’s called Tractor Trevor as he was found extremely ill and basically immovable in a field and had to be taken away on a tractor. Galgos del Sol have worked miracles on him, and he’ll be joining our family of Spanish dogs: Podencos, Mastin, and Lab. ❤️🇪🇸🐾

Gareth Bouch@garethbouch.bsky.social

Don’t know how visible this is, but here’s Tractor Trev #mastin - the newest member of our 🇪🇸🐾 family. We pick him up near Bristol tomorrow night. Nervous but excited, and determined to give him the best ever forever home. www.facebook.com/share/r/1KFF...

Not a single news outlet has reviewed its coverage of Jason Arday, for accuracy or proportionality. Zero attempt to conduct any inquiry into the media’s role in his death. Instead, the industry has moved into self-congratulatory mode. This isn’t just tone deaf, it betrays a systemic failure

Israel potentially being unable to move past Netanyahu because the supposed moderates can't stomach making a coalition with Arabs really says a lot about how deep the racism is there.

Whilst both Paddington and I will obviously be appreciative of a tiny bit of faffing with the price of marmalade, I really wish these people would get the hell on with doing the big things that would make massive economic improvements for us all. They could, but they don’t. Cowards.

Jon Kay to Jonathan Reynolds: "You're planning to remove import taxes from products like chocolate, gherkins, marmalade. Your own figures say that will save the average household 40p a week. At a time when [bills] are going up, do you really think people are going to notice 40p a week?"

Netanyahu is sounding utterly desperate today. He's posting non-stop about high Arab voting turnout to create hysteria and fear. He also released a video statement claiming "They are trying to steal the election from us!" Arab Israelis make up 21% of the Israeli electorate.

Believe it or not, this is the same party that built the NHS, the welfare state and a million council homes from the rumble of World War 2. Embarrassing.

Saw this (detail from "The Apocalypse of 1313" - (1313) - Colin Chadewe) on a Medieval Art FB page I follow, and I must say I'm really digging the demon's "Going anywhere nice on your holidays?" vibe.

I don’t think enough is said about how funny this is. He would have briefed somebody to do this. Possibly while stood behind them, making suggestions over their shoulder. Stood on a stepladder.

I think if any political party wants a vote winning policy it’d be stamping down on data centres, calling a complete halt, bringing in the most massively stringent conditions on data purpose, energy usage, environmental and light pollution, and water use - in each and every single case.

💚🙏👇 Microsoft wants to build three massive AI data centres in Leeds. It’ll drain thousands of litres of water from the River Aire and become the city's biggest carbon emitter. I watched the PM on #GMB this morning & both Gillian & Kevin are right, he comes across as very likeable. But as Kevin says, he's got to walk the talk. And whether its on taxing wealth, nationalising water, an ethical foreign policy, & so on, he's given every indication he's not going to.

100% this. And it's something we need to get moving on in the UK too. Sharpish.
