Kleptofascism: "CoreCivic went from near financial ruin to a company that receives...millions of dollars annually to operate the Otay Mesa facility, reaping profits while inflicting misery on the people it detains, the staff it employs, & the community it occupies." www.aclu-sdic.org/corecivics-d...

aclu-sdic.orgCoreCivic’s Decades of Abuse: Otay Mesa Detention Center - ACLU of San DiegoOur country’s over-reliance on mass systems of incarceration is rightfully under scrutiny. In the context of immigration detention, advocates have long asserted that it is inhumane to use prison-like ...

The only decent person in all of this was the other detainee who gave her crackers. We’re supposed to believe ICE is detaining the worst of the worst, but ICE is actually employing the worst of the worst.

Christianity? ICE captures & detentions are hardly following Christ’s teachings, in fact I would think it’s more like Satan. So Trump supporters, you support Satan?

The administration still acts like it's only targeting the "worst of the worst" criminals and that every ICE arrest makes the country safer, as if we can't see the people they're arresting.

Even when DHS put out that memo with all the dangerous criminals they'd arrested by invading Minnesota, almost all on the list were people they picked up in jails and prisons, not off the street. Out on the street, they're far more likely to arrest pre-schoolers in bunny hats.

This is what American taxpayers money is being used for instead of healthcare and feeding, hungry children!👧 Donald Trump couldn’t do shit if it was not for those evil republican senators left in office by Americans who just don’t give a damn or just too lazy to remove and replaced.

Diabetics know their diabetes better than anyone. Clearly the nurses were NOT listening to her and put her at risk of death. It is shocking to me as a retired nurse that these people are registered, if they actually are. This is such basic care for Type 1 diabetics.

This is basic first aid stuff! We had a couple of diabetics at my workplace and our whole department got briefed on what to do if they had a sugar low, etc. What's going on at those facilities that we aren't hearing about?
