As a women-owned business, I shop for supplies at Costco and am a shareholder. I appreciate Costco for standing by its policies—another place where I can feel good about my shopping.

I always liked Costco way better than Sam’s Club. Plus they are better to their workers. And the hot dogs (cooked, at the front of the store) are awesome.

Here are 3 that are going to end their DEI program. Walmart Amazon Meta If you have Sam’s Club which is part of the Walmart corporation, drop it and join Costco. I believe McDonald's, Ford, John Deere and Lowe’s are rolling back their program.

As much as I loathe the madness at Costco sometimes, its stuff like this that’ll make me keep shopping there. They run a successful business, why stop it?

Pro tip: get a vacuum sealer (conveniently also sold at Costco), to bust up large buys of everything from meat, frozen fruit & veg, coffee beans, sandwich rolls, snacks for freezing or smaller pantry storage. The clothing is surprisingly good, gas, tires... and hey, if a kayak is on sale, get that!

The pharmacy is also 100 times a better customer experience than anywhere else I’ve gone (other than the rare locally-owned places, but that’s not an option where I live).

I only have two in my household, but I found it easy to freeze or vacuum seal a lot of the extras to use later. I bought a bigger freezer for this purpose. Saving a ton of money on food.

Their kale salad in the deli section is great. It's just two of us and we have had several dinners with it along with roasted potatoes and Costco's delicious baguettes. They come in a pack of two, so we freeze one. Their prices are great, especially for things like ibuprofen, vitamins, etc ..

Turns out, while Costco was having its meeting, that I didn't know about, I was at their tire shop having my car serviced. I'll be keeping my membership + shopping there a little more. Thank you Costco for striving. I'm sure it doesn't hurt anything.

You know, there’s always a honeymoon period in any relationship. This stupid love of MAGAts for Trump has been a blind rump fest long enough and almost like a never ending nuptial. But the more we resist to these fascistic criminals the quicker their house of cards will crumble. Keep it up!!

this is very smart because the teamsters union which staffs costco (and whose leadership has been acting very friendly with the right) is preparing to go on strike. building up a bunch of broad support and good will from people who might otherwise support the strike is a clever tactic by management.

Thank you! I just purchased a membership today, and would hate to cancel after one purchase. I’ve been researching businesses and the products they sell to decide who, what and where I’ll be spending my money.

I’m single so buying in bulk is more wasteful for me, but got a membership anyway just to check them out. I was on the fence as to whether to renew since I barely buy much there. I think I will keep my membership just because!

Consider a vacuum sealer (also sold at Costco) to bust up the larger food purchases for storage in the freezer or pantry. Whatever pantry items I can get at Costco are always a better price for quality. Pretty much just milk, fruit and veg comes from the regular grocery now.

The story about when the CEO was asked to raise the price of the hotdog and soda tells you everything you need to know about the company. Costco co-founder James Sinegal famously said, "If you raise the effing hot dog, I will kill you. Figure it out".

Costco leadership’s stance on this made me sign up for a membership to support. After many years of “meh”. I’m just a single family household and it doesn’t make sense except to support. Huge Costco fan now. And after shopping there for the first time? “Why didn’t I do this before?” #freezer

The fact that they can keep you fixated on this topic 24/7, distracting from the corruption in the economy, the erosion of your rights, and the relentless rise of inflation, is a testament to their mastery of media manipulation.
