He was a racist bigot. Call it what it is @npr.org. "controversy" implies there are disagreements between two reasonable sides. The condemnation of bigotry and racism should not be considered controversial. Be better. This lifetime listener is done with you after months of trash like this.

Some people work to improve the world every day. Others work every day and improve nothing. Scott Adams was one of the latter, and only improved the world when he left it. Good Riddance.

Yep, being a cubical creature for most of my career, Dilbert was a daily must read. It's sad that a person of intelligence and insight can be so blinded by prejudice and ignorance. The world is imperfect.

I don't recall a controversy. Just people who knew he was an a-hole and disliked him for it, and other people who knew he was an a-hole and liked him for it.

Really disappointed that All Things Considered decided to remember the Dilbert creator by sharing a clip of him telling a racist joke!?!? wtf, NPR?!?!

"A controversy" is an awfully polite way to describe Adams's embrace of bigotry, and use of his platform to promote hate. To the extent he is remembered, he'll be remembered as a small and hateful man.
