I was fresh out of hs* before i bought the game in jan 2005. i knew it would be good, capcom was on decade+ long winning streak for quality software. i just didnt realize i was about to play still one of the greatest action games ever made *by half a year

Sophmore year of college ๐Ÿ‘ด, just played that opening village over and over with friends, passing the controller around. Once I got it did everything I could, all the shooting gallery bits, hard mode, Mercenaries mode...

First time I played it was the WIi version. Got my head cut off in the village, instantly turned it off and didn't touch it for a whole week. Very glad I went back to it. But I then did buy a sealed GameCube copy of it for 98c in 2010.

My first experience with RE4 was the remake, and then I played the original in VR. Loved both! 7 was the first RE game Iโ€™ve played. After playing 4 I definitely see the inspiration taken from it and being put into 8. Overall, a very good game!!

Always loved doing a "Fish Challenge Run" where I go through Normal New Game and Hard NG+ without ever selling or eating all the fish I can grab before the castle. Attache Case is my favorite minigame in RE4.

I always think of how this conversation goes with Ashley and Leon. -Ashley "Leon why do you have so many fish in that briefcase?" -Leon "I got fish for days Ashley." -Ashley "wha-" -Leon "FISH FOR DAYS!!!" "While waring a fish mask looking at Ashley"

I played it for the first time with the remake and I was excepting a standard horror shooting game AND THEN STORYTELLING HAPPENED AND LUIS AND ADA And I was just blown away extremely unexpectedly and deliciously???

Ashley: Leon whatโ€™re you doing Leon: well you see ash, I have too many fish and too many guns if theyโ€™re placed this way, but I rearrange it like Tetris it suddenly fits all my fish and guns Ashley: Iโ€™m doomed

Still playing through it on my Quest 2. Rather fun, but got phantom pain from a snake jumpscare (stood there dumbfounded like a buffoon instead of killing it)

I love how this comic makes me want to play RE4 more than any action sequence or nostalgia. The other major 'i wanna play RE4' is when I used to watch that stoner guy on twitch play fighting games and the notifications go: "Ehheheh. Thank you."

First, I'm glad you're on the butterfly app. Second, I managed to get my copy right before GameStop enforced ID for M rated games. I also got a music CD that was promoting the movies at the time along with the demo and trailer of the other games. Great times

Hours spent playing this game on GameCube, genuinely one of my favorites. Replaying on other consoles just didnโ€™t recapture the same level of magic (but still a great game!)
