All my friends and family are over 65. Most gave us have never missed a vote. Not a general, not a midterm.

Gen X is the most conservative demo right now

The down trend from R to L has fueled the Right's panic driven politics since the '80s at least. When AIDS initially appeared to exclusively impact non breeding White men, they practically rejoiced. They're still harping on having more White babies, banning abortion, banning contraceptives...

Those first five bars are why we have Republicans in rig-future-elections mode. Scared shitless of what those demographics likely mean for the future of MAGA politics.

So…there’s hope for the future.

I took my teen-aged daughter on a bunch of college tours last year. It is absolutely apparent when visiting college campuses that this age cohort is way less white than us.

Best proof that if you don't treat all races equally, they will have shorter lives. Those minorities are getting less healthy food and less preventive healthcare. But, the Asian community is doing a great job and keep their population numbers steady. They are definitely doing something right!

Not all boomers are racists. I'll acknowledge there are a lot. But NOT all. Not all of any age are of one persuasion. Please do not oversimplify and stereotype.

Another chart that would help explain the politics of the moment would be one showing voting participation as a function of age. Older people are more likely to vote.

And are treated differently (better) by doctors.

dont forget Trump's biggest supporters are 50-64 white men. These are the group most affected by lead poisoning.
