Jesus fucking christ. The Trump administration tried to send a bunch of children to Guatemala at 3 am and justified it by saying that the kids just wanted to return to their parents in Guatemala, but the kids actually told the court that they are afraid of being sent back to Guatemala.

Nope; the Government never said the children wanted to return. It said the Government of Guatemala told the US that the parents wanted the children returned.

I wish someone would tally the number of times our DOJ attorneys have been caught lying to judges, saying one thing when the evidence says the opposite. Of course, when an organization is rotten at the top (your choice -- trump or Bondi), what else would one expect down the line. Shit runs downhill.

And DOJ attorneys need to be sanctioned by the court and investigated by the Bar Assoc for presenting false information. They violate attorney ethics every day without consequence. And having the current DOJ on a resume should be an instant block to any firm or institution hiring them.

As an attorney, I know it's a basic ethical canon to observe a duty of candor to the court (any court). If the attorneys were making misrepresentations to the judge, then the technical term for their status should be "in deep doo-doo."

Well since your President is a rapist/pedo, you can't expect he'd have any qualms about putting children in harms way. They might wind up in the hands of sex traffickers which would make his administration and their Christian backers very happy. They have no moral compass

Strongly worded judicial response, maybe. Which up to this point has consisted of things like "this spurious filing gives the appearance of disingenuous motivations. The government has 2 weeks to refile."

Aside: TIL I recall playing as a kid, calling out: “Ollie Ollie oxen free.” Never knew what it meant other than, I couldn’t now be tagged. In college, I majored in German and later worked in Germany. That was decades ago. NEVER did I realize the phrase was: “alle, alle, such sind frei!” !!!

Yeah but Donnie is the same guy that “allegedly” refused to listen to his own daughter when she told him “no.” Also the same parent who slapped one of his sons in front of a crowd. If that’s how he treats his own kids how’s he going to treat anyone else’s kids?

It's worse than that. The gangs are so pervasive in Central America. We're not talking about harmful individuals, but whole systems. Parents send their children to America so they don't get press-ganged into doing horrible things.

Yeah, "That's what I've been told" is not a real answer in a court of law. This is a maddening continuation of the old "some people say" fabrication that was a staple in cable "news", but is now common in official settings. The next question should always be "WHO said."

Ship him off to Mars this man is a disgrace it’s unacceptable for the so called president of the United States of America to human trafficking these kids who aren’t even his kids Trump keep your fucking holds off the kids you creepy fucker

Trump was trying to ‘Epstein File’ the evidence. I think these were some of the 1400 children lost in the cruel family separation program at the border. Child disappeared into the foster care program ( pedo’s ?) and the families were deported. Record keeping was sloppy or never existed.

Yes this is why there are courts but not sure the DOJ will head those rulings they don't like, & whose to stop them is the question that needs answering with more & more once "defenders' of the laws going over to the "dark side"

The idea that this regime's DOJ lawyers are just bald-faced lying to judges is a very, very, very, very bad thing. We need some examples made of these people. NOW.
