The parents are on board with this. “His behavior was tolerated for one reason, another former Texas Fierce Elite athlete said: College “was always the end goal.” Richardson quickly established a track record of sending athletes to local and even Division I colleges, often with scholarships.”

I'd much rather my daughters not be anywhere near this. My daughters; one full scholarship/prestigious college (federal employee). The other needed our help (professional commercial photographer in NY) w/her own business. College as the end goal, but abuse is intolerable; nothing can erase that.

What is clear to me that we need to be more skeptical and less trusting, even if something his is at stake. Define inappropriate behavior as a parent and discuss with your kids. Make sure your kids know they should come to you with any concerns. These guys are psychologically canny and count on

Our president has normalised sexual abuse on minors and women in general. It's just one of the lows our country has been experiencing under his administration. If the top swamper is accused of it, it must be okay. There's no shining light on a hill. Just mud and swamp mess and a foul smell.

In schools, I have found that people who have clearly done wrong are allowed to continue working with “conditions“ or quietly leave voluntarily (with NDA’s) in order to “spend more time with their families“ or “pursue new opportunities” or “retire.” They sometimes show up in other districts. 🧵🪡

As long as adults/parents send their teen girls to this situation in a school or a gym that has him as the coach they get what they get. If they're so a knowledgeable or choose to turn their heads when facts are presented it will be their teen girls that will suffer.

Possibly because SafeSport ran like a Star Chamber, and power with no accountability is untrustworthy at its core. They said stupid things like, "If we find EFG innocent, then all is well," but that doesn't repair reputations. And for many, no proper governing authority = no problem.
