Also wipe your browser cookies. FB tracks you even off the app. Even after you delete the app it will continue to track you unless you do some serious cookie purging and invest in some solid ad blocking.

I randomly generated 3 6-digit numbers, changed my x password to it, and logged out. I can't access it anymore, and my account stays up.
