Houthis took down 4 jets? So you're making up numbers? 😅 Houthis snuck onto the carrier & kept the hook from grabbing an arrestor cable? Must've been them that made a plane slide out of the lift? Houthis are in the Mediterranean Sea? In Egypt, too? Thanks for the laugh 😅

I blame JD Vance:

Ron Filipkowski@ronfilipkowski.bsky.social

JD Vance broke the National Championship trophy, then visited the Pope who died the next day, then visited India and a terrorist attack happened and war broke out, then endorsed his brother for mayor who lost 83-11%. What’s next on the agenda?

Get Hegseth on the case! Sure he'll sort it out in no time! Ha fucking ha!! Maybe they're trying to point out his incompetence? He's sacking a lot of senior officers, maybe he should stop doing that shit & let people do the jobs they've spent years being trained for? Just a suggestion🙄

I don't recall it happening under the Biden administration.I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure I'm not!Four jets?FOUR?Well, they're only a few hundred million $ each, that's just a couple of Trumps golfing weekends. So he'll have to play bridge instead 🤣🤣🤣 as if! Couldnt if he tried, way above his IQ.

Considering what these aircraft cost, it hurts my heart that this can happen repeatedly and the powers-that-be just shrug it off, while at the same time saying they are cutting fraud, waste and abuse by slashing congressionally- approved funding for essential government programs.

My God, get that crew more training! At $67 billion a piece, they’re adding too much to our debt. Maybe we should garnish the pay of those in charge, until those planes are paid for!

'Tequila, this is carrier control you are free for approach' 'Hic,eh?' 'Tequila, Tequila this is carrier control you are free for approach on 25, crew are topsid-' 'fuk ya looking at pal!, eh?' 'Tequila, Tequila! 2!5! 2!5! swing round 2 points -" "-WALK 500 MILES AN I WID WALK 500 MARE-' *splash

I understand the media loves to sensationalize everything that is happening under the Trump administration (gotta get those clicks) and just wondering if these types of obviously avoidable and costly mistakes happened with previous administrations?

Failed landing… was it due to pilot error, aircraft maintenance error, aircraft manufacturing or parts error, ship arresting system maintenance error? Stormy? Pitching deck? Info made available to the public may never really answer these questions.

3 on one ship. So that's the only carrier in our entire fleet that has all the bad pilots? They put them all together like freaking F Troop so everyone can see how incredibly incompetent the US navy is? cmon

The first one to go into the drink didn’t have a pilot and this last one from what I understand was a failure of the arrester cable where it slowed the plane to where the plane was not able to fly off the side so unless the pilot did something wrong (possible) it’s a maintenance high tempo issue.

Leadership matters! “Weekend” News anchor does not qualify. If I hear straight out of “casting” anymore 🤬. Get in the movie business then…Trump, let the grown ups lead. It’s literally a life or death situation.

So wait, you’re telling me that in last 5 months, the US has wasted around $200 million on dumping airplanes in the Red Sea? Maybe they should make me defense secretary; I could find all sorts of ways to waste $40 million a month, and I wouldn’t even wreck aircraft to do it.

Maybe focusing on firing qualified, DEI, woke, skilled leaders and soldiers, replacing them with Trump ass lickers isn’t a recipe for success. We’re seeing the same debacles in civilian sector with TSA, air traffic control.

If the parties were reversed & this happened 9 months ago, Republicans would be having 24/7 meetings about this, calling for General Austin to get fired & Biden to get impeached. And our useless news media would be all over this making it a massive scandal. This happens under Trump and ... crickets

The Biden Administration started the bombing of the Houthis for the record. Your point still stands, because Trump and his Administration are incompetent, but the Biden Administration should not recieve retroactive praise for more competently bombing other countries.

Oh no now the military will need another budget increase to make up for the hundreds of millions of technology they just dump into the ocean for the lulz. Nothing for the VA though. Weird how that works.

It's not the 3rd lost jet in a year, it's the 3rd lost jet in a month. I see what WP is trying to do here. This is what happens when you fire qualified people, claiming they were DEI, and hiring unqualified white people with connections, and calling it merit.

And just like the last time (the tow tractor operator) we know that the pilot is a straight white male, because otherwise within minutes Whiskey Pete and the Fox News fascists would have been spewing their "DEI hire" vitriol.
