This is Tango. She wants you to know this isn't what it looks like. Doesn't know what else it could be yet, but she's working on that. 12/10 obviously innocent (IG: eyes_on_tango)

I've seen this happen before, that table somehow moved just as she opened her mouth and it accidently ended up in her mouth. Obviously an innocent victim of circumstances.

Clearly, the table was in danger of slipping. Not having opposable thumbs, but having a very helpful spirit, Tango sought to keep the table in place by any means (and teefs) necessary. 🐾❤️

This is also Tango. She finds anyway to sit with you even if its climbing onto the back of the couch and draping over you like a parrot. We hope shes doing well after her vet stay for her heart

Structural integrity checks had to be done to make sure the structure of the table was sound. You’d use a hammer and a screwdriver. Tango had to improvise.

Thank you for the re-fur-al (get it?) - my client Tango will not speak without counsel (me!) present - furthermore, @weratedogs.com owes my client compensation (treats!) for this use of PIL (pup image and likeness) - and hi.

Tango did nothing wrong: there is a small but not nonexistent possibility that the table is not a table but a mimic. She risked life and limb to make sure it was not a danger and what does she get? Dirty looks and finger wagging.

Perhaps the trim needed to be glued back on and Tango is just using her mouth to hold it in place while it sets. Works for me. Such a good girl!

It's obvious what's happened here. There was a dangerous splinter on the edge of the table and Tango is bravely dealing with it before you hurt yourself. She didn't want you to know because she doesn't like to draw attention to all the help around the house she does.

She doesn't have opposable thumbs, so she has to use her teeth to grip things. She's not chewing. Just gripping. Thought it would be obvious, but guess not. She'll uh... grip your shoes too, if you're not careful.
