This is Fenrir. He has not yet been successful in cuddling with the cat. But thinks if he goes slow enough she might not notice. 13/10 (IG: fenrirfanclub)

I have an opposite case at home One of my cats, Spock, is particularly cuddly and wants to do it with everyone, while one of my dogs, Charlie, doesn't like it and keeps growling every time Spock snuggles against him. Spock is completely unfazed and keeps going, so Charles just endures it.

Dogs seek to be close to all animals, human and others, in the house, considering them part of their pack. Cats are sometimes initially hostile, but dogs are patient and eventually cats will usually become at least tolerant of dog attention and often will grow close to the dog.

They do always eventually win them over in my experience, even if the situation is reversed and the cat spends a few months convincing the dog that they won’t murder them.
