And A4, a lid can be a decent shield

Per game theory a gun everywhere increases my chances of survival

Also, this image does not represent a valid combat stance with an improvised shield

I really love the bottom-left panel of the one character crowning the other one with a pot lid.

This is all green if you're Jackie Chan

Please donate your old and unused lids to oil companies whose rigs continue to suffer from massive fires

Is xkcd still publishing updated content?

Read this for 5 minutes till I realized it didn’t say “owl on fire.”

I think the fire extinguisher would be green all the way down

Electric fires = unplug, use ABC powder or CO2 extinguisher

Sounds like you're in the 1980s. Fast forward to the 2020s and nobody deep fries at home anymore

what did u mean by this

Oh cool, you’re here! You were one of the absolute best parts of early social media circa 2009, so only fitting you’d be kicking around in the social media afterlife too

It's the second half of 2024, and people are =still= recording themselves having accidents with oil fire because, quote, "I dunno what to do I DUNNO WHAT TO DO"

Just pouring one out to the dudes bringing guns to an oil fire

good comic. but it undervalues hydration,.which is useful in all scenarios

I’m not sure why I find this really funny.

My favorite of yours is "You're a kitty!".

Idk, a lid in a knife fight actually seems useful.

I can confirm that baking soda is not an option for oil fires as well 😅

Idk dude Naked Snake taught me that a knife is better for cqc
