There can never be another "water under the bridge" administration ever again, and part of that is going to involve shaming everyone on board with this one - voters included - as the disgusting pig racists they are

RFK: "There's five hundred million Arabs in the world. And yet they don't produce science. They don't win the Nobel Prize. They don't win the Fields Prize. They don't win the Wolf Prize. They don't produce literature."

Nothing this guy says is ever correct. You could ask him what color a school bus is and he'd say anything but yellow just because he's that much of a pathological loser.

There’s no such thing as a self-made billionaire. To accumulate that level of obscene capital you have to develop parasitical relationships to sabotaged systems and prove useful to explicitly anti-human projects.

The core of everything is corruption. The cruelty, the fascism, the destruction of democracy and reality itself, it's all a means of self-enrichment and empowerment of a class of people that do not give two shits whether we live or die if it means stuffing their pockets. It starts there and expands

ICE is an ideologically-driven jobs program for men willing to engage in violence on behalf of their authoritarian employer and it would help to view them as a state-sponsored paramilitary militia. And that's probably something to keep in mind as the economy is being imploded.

There was a fucking hole in our planet’s *atmosphere* Like a legit, no joke, “this will unravel our entire ecosystem” hole in the world, and then we fixed it by working together across national and political lines As a species we decided, “we will survive” Let’s do that some more

Social media loves talking about how everything is getting worse. But what’s something that you’ve seen get _better_ in your lifetime?

"Debate" has been corrupted by codifying it into a competitive sport imo; at this point it is rarely a method for good faith actors to hit upon best solutions or refine a shared reality; it's mostly a vector for bad faith actors to keep failed and destructive ideas in perpetual zombie currency.

Olúfẹ́mi O. Táíwò@olufemiotaiwo.bsky.social

it's understandable to think of constructive debate as an ideal and then to figure that *any* debate is therefore a step towards political values and virtues. but I think most debates, particularly in the social media age, make conversations and outlooks worse than where they started

Me after seeing the current state of the video game industry:

$1200-1800 for a console is such commercial suicide I can't even muster a "get the fuck outta here" about the news aftermath.site/xbox-helix-nex...

You know, Elon, if you just paid your taxes, we could give those kids food and healthcare, things far more valuable than stock in a government-welfare-dependent company that is bound to go bankrupt eventually.

corruption and fraud above a certain amount should be treated as seriously as murder. because fraud kills. corruption kills. when a congressman pushes a bill to, say, build a highway because they personally will make $3 million selling land for that project, we should lock them up for life.

The Editorial Board@editorialboard.bsky.social

“Asked what they blamed for rising gas prices, those voters pointed to “corrupt politicians” and “billionaires” — a response that surprised some longtime strategists who’ve never seen government corruption emerge as a top issue for so many Republican voters.” www.cnn.com/2026/10/18/p...

This 2022 piece by Jeremy Peters In the New York Times was hilarious bullshit when it was published but now that Musk is literally bankrolling the entire Republican Party it’s a fucking laugh riot.

It's almost a joke at this point, but the entire story of Mamdani's mayorship really has been "it turns out we can just turn off the orphan grinding machine, the switch was right there the whole time."

New: Mayor Zohran Mamdani and City Council Speaker Julie Menin have reached a deal to abolish NYC's horse carriage industry — a critical breakthrough in a decadeslong, politically fraught effort to ban the tourist attraction. www.politico.com/news/2026/10...

Look at the shabby state and increasingly authoritarian trajectory of the country and ask yourself if we can endure 2 more years of a lawless Trump administration wreaking havoc with no check from Congress, then vote accordingly. This is not the time for a protest vote or purity politics.

Shoutout to people who put those 12-foot skeletons in their front yards and literally nothing else. Like come on, man. If you're gonna be extra like that then you should decorate your whole lawn while you're at it.

For the love of God, stop saying this regime's ruthless authoritarianism "raises questions" and start telling us what answers you have for us. If you can't do that, get the fuck out of the way.

Amy Klobuchar@amyklobuchar.com

The timing of this raid and reports that a White House official was involved raise serious questions that should concern all Americans, regardless of political party.
