One thing every tech company is doing but few share with anyone: evaluating AI tools for devs - for coding, for infra (eg gateway), for code review etc. Tons of vendors, unclear which one to buy. Share what you / your team found, and I'll share what others are seeing and what they measure (cont'd)

I’m not anti-wealth. I grew up poor and wish it on no one. What I, and most Americans, take issue with is a handful of people holding SO much wealth while Americans go bankrupt if they get cancer and working class people struggle to get by every month. It’s greed.

I become more convinced every day that the biggest proponents of AI Agents for coding are actually just completely mediocre devs who have never shipped a product before

Sure, you know TanStack as the awesome React-Query framework that is used in 25% of all React apps. But Jack Herrington (@jherr.dev) is coming to #CascadiaJS to show us how it's a LOT more than that. In fact, it may end being your new go-to framework. #TanStack #JavaScript #WebDev #OpenSource

just deployed a new microservice. it’s like watching a child take its first steps, except the child is a poorly documented api, and i’m the one who forgot to include the error handling.

So he’s just going to raise automaker’s costs by 25% via tarrifs and then ask them to eat the loss? This is speedrunning the tinpot fascist dictator playbook in record time.

I'm currently looking for a new fit remote, Android development contract role. I have over 15 years of Android development experience, and bring lots of positive energy to the team. Although I'm based in the UK, I'm set up to work for companies based anywhere. I have immediate availability.

😳🤯

Good morning Bluesky 👋🏼 🦋 Web Dev / Dev tools tip 🔥 Did you know there is a 'changes' tab in the browser dev tools? It keeps track of changes that you make and presents it in git style diff UI. You can even copy changes when you're finished! 🤯 Never lose those unknown CSS changes again 🎉

The "exclusive new model" is the same model with more compute. Is more compute actually going to make the results better? No. But it sounds cool so dorks will pay for it and pat themselves on the back for "being power users."

Finally working on a barebones CLI to get all the docs from a repository and condense them into a big .md file with some instructions for LLMs. I’ve been thinking about building something like this for weeks and I’m really happy I’m finally getting it done. I’ll publish something to npm today.
