If still debating whether Donald Trump or Elon Musk willfully crippled Ukraine's missile defense, helping to slay innocent civilians, you are a rube. If the U.S. President had no role, then an oligarch governs national security. If not, the U.S. President serves Russia. Both answers are mortifying.

An interesting read.

A lavish 1919 dinner party that killed five people. An attempt to save the canning industry in the 1920s. A World War II biological weapons program and a CIA plot against Fidel Castro. A cosmetic product, best known as Botox, that erases facial wrinkles exploded into a multibillion-dollar business.

What did they think these things would be used for?

To Beltway elites, folks like Susan Collins, Lindsey Graham and Jim Clyburn symbolized the "Good Washington" that was soiled by the uncouth Trump But here they are in steakhouses ripping off taxpayers with bogus contracts in return for campaign cash Yo, pundits, your life is based around a lie

The law says no such thing. And to play this game with any reporter marks you as an idiotic blowhard -- which nowadays equates to merely being a garden-variety political hack. But to do it and target a student journalist? You are the Platonic ideal of a unwiped asshole, which equates to Andy Harris.

Baltimore Banner@thebaltimorebanner.com

Republican Rep. Andy Harris incorrectly told a reporter they were breaking the law as the reporter and others recorded an exchange with him last night. Harris had just wrapped up a debate with Democratic challenger Dan Schwartz.

Trump in the Oval, alone, seeing this quote. He rubs his forehead. He goes to the window, stares out over the great city. Has he, in fact, betrayed the legacy of his late friend? The thought is too horrible to contemplate. "Heavy is the head," he thinks, quoting Henry IV Part II, his favorite play.

Former VP Mike Pence: “President Trump’s decision to lift sanctions on Russian fuel amidst Putin’s ongoing and brutal attacks on civilian targets in Ukraine makes no sense and is a betrayal of the legacy and leadership of the late Senator Lindsey Graham.”

Grant County commissioners are hearing a presentation about Site Layer 1, a data center proposed for the southern tip of the county on private ranching land. Details have been hush hush. Ironically, the virtual presentation by developers is almost inaudible.

There is some serious community opposition and yet no answers to many questions, as the faint voice of the developer says the project is still in the “feasibility stage” and he doesn’t want to speculate. Exasperation on dais and in the gallery.

The state inspector warned that the dam would overtop in a 100-year flood event or a six-hour rainfall. For instance, the McLead partially overtopped during an August 2022 storm that brought more than 6 inches of rain to the valley, contributing to erosion of the dam’s downstream slope.

Doña Ana County lifted its evacuation notice for the Hatch Valley community of Rincon on Wednesday afternoon, urging residents to be cautious of flooded roads and storm debris after heavy monsoon rains Tuesday breached a nearby arroyo and nearly caused a dam to fail in Garfield.

BREAKING: SCOTUS allows the Trump admin to restart third-country removals under a policy found by lower courts to violate federal law. The Democratic appointees dissent. The deportations will be OK'ed at least through the next several months, with SCOTUS agreeing to hear the case in December.

Whenever you see a pollster or consultant give a take like this, it’s always worth following the money. In this case, Emanuel has paid Anzalone’s firm nearly $300k (maybe more but that’s what I found so far). A consultant class is devouring the Dem Party www.elections.il.gov/CampaignDisc...
