Media and "internet sleuths" all over the world misidentified and inaccurately reported the name of the Tumbler Ridge shooting suspect. That must have added insulted to injury in a small community of less than 2500 people already suffering an unimaginable loss.

According to the RCMP, a teacher, five high school students, two of the shooter's family members (mother and step-brother) and the suspect all died in yesterday's shooting. Two high schoolers are still in critical condition.

What's happened to the network of Rather, Cronkite, and Murrow? Bari Weiss's decision to spike 60 Minutes' piece CECOT prison in El Salvador, is a warning to all media--not just the staff at 60M and CBS. Corporate media is failing in its primary role. Cronkite could never have predicted this.

I was lucky enough to chat with him in 2006 when PBS aired a special in advance of his 90th birthday. It was unthinkable at the time that the hose of The Apprentice would become President. Here's a clipping of the Cronkite piece (from the Nat Post). He may be rolling in his grave today.

This is Radley. She asks to "destroy" when she needs to let out extra energy. "She gets plenty of walks and physical activity," her family told us, "but she uses her destroy button when she is craving a little extra chaos." 13/10 (IG: radley_barkley)

This 1959 Balmain ensemble is exquisite!

Kate Strasdin@katestrasdin.bsky.social

It is a cloud of an ensemble, an embellished tulle sculpted into a form fitting cocktail dress on the one hand & an all enveloping coat on the other. The flowers bloom in a burst of trimmings & embroideries like floral fireworks. Pierre Balmain, 1959 #PalaisGalliera #FashionHistory 🗃️🪡

So, is this why Pamela Anderson was making it clear earlier this week that she and Liam Neeson aren't a couple (despite their Naked Gun press tour flirting)? Very wise, Pam.

Accountability Journalism Institute@accountabilityji.bsky.social

Liam Neeson lent his voice to a new anti-vax doc glorifying RFK Jr.’s rise at HHS— a stunning reversal for a UNICEF ambassador who once called vaccines “a remarkable human success story.” His publicist now insists he’s still pro-vaccine. www.accountabilityjournalism.org/trump-admini...

#FollowTheMoney - Newly unearthed emails from Epstein’s personal account reveal a critical, previously unknown chapter in the government’s case. In 2007, federal prosecutors in Florida, led by U.S. Attorney Marie Villafaña, expanded their sex-crimes probe into Epstein to include his finances.
