Today is Intersex Awareness Day. I am intersex – and did not find out until I was 26! Intersex people are also impacted by the decision in FWS, but this is much less talked about. Intersex people continue to be subjected to non-consensual medical interventions. Intersex rights are human rights.

Another episode. Essentially it's a gender clinic files part 2. Some fantastic work from the team and Clare.

I think I've heard a couple athletes say that they have felt let down by the community for conceding so quickly on trans sports. It has been dissappointing to see. And conceding unnecessarily when the actual science and everything all counts against trans sports bans.

Erin Reed@erininthemorning.com

There are people, even some trans people, who think that we can give up sports to appease bigots. That if we give up on sports, this all goes away. That is a lie. I have reported on this for years, and EVERY state that passed a sports ban as a moderate compromise has gone on to pass worse.

It feels very coordinated that the NHS trans-exclusion ward guidance, the Civil Service guidance and the updated Armed Forces guidance (JSP889) have all dropped at the same time. They all enforce our exclusion from single sex spaces and make GRCs meaningless. Which was always the point.

As part of international lesbian visibility day I want to congratulate my partner @bexsailingmermaid.bsky.social for her fantastic day of racing yesterday. A 1st, a 4th and a 2nd in her races. Really proud to be her partner.

Day 1 and 2 of Portimao racing! Been good to be repping TeamGB colours. But also putting on the trans flag to highlight that much more needs to be done in the UK for our trans athletes.

The challenger fleet of dinghy's is the perfect counter to terfs imo. It doesn't matter what condition you have or what your body has. 1 leg or 1 arm or if you are able bodied. You can compete. It is basically like the sailing equivalent to roller derby.

There is no gender split in the rules. Everyone competes together. The only thing that transness ever comes in. Is how you are recorded in the result. But even that is negligent.

We were going through our library of protest photos, but a curious thing we noticed was that there were a lack of protest signs talking about gender euphoria. Bit of a suprise that we didn't see it at all. We got tons about trans joy, other references to stuff. But not anything on gender euphoria.

Some great work by Flint! He put a lot of hard work into this. And the team has been doing a fantastic job of keeping WTT producing these episodes whilst I've been on my break.

We're in a film that needs your support! It's called TERF Island. A couple years ago we were asked by JJ to be shadowed and sit down for some discussion with the amazing Olivia from Trans Legal Clinic, Shiv, and Jazmeen Qureshi. Please give anything you can! www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/terfisland...

To be clear – I would argue this is almost certainly unlawful discrimination under the Equality Act 2010, even under the Code of Practice.

People get confused about the trans sports thing because at a glance it seems like a small issue that impacts a very small number of people and thus makes sense as a "reasonable" concession. But it isn't, because conceding that is accepting that a kid's trans identity is on some level fraudulent

I spoke to Kat Bristow and Melissa Harker from LGBTIQA+ Greens about conference motions A116: End political capture of the EHRC and create a truly Independent Equality & Human Rights Authority and A12: Oppose Gender-Based Blanket Bans in Sport. youtu.be/J_eySTo4LW4?...

Having some rum for the first time in like 2 or 3 months and it is super nice. Also got some nice chocolate to snack on. But now, I have a policy of no social media and alcohol so alas I shall bugger off the internet for the next couple hours

It's always frustrating when we are sorting through the protest photo archive we have and we see protest signs with GenAI art or text on it... Please just stop using it. We've already had to remove some signs from our photo archive and put them in a non public one.

I'm usually quite chill about protest signs. For example wishing ill on public officials and other content. When I get photos of it. It's at least good content really showing the frustration of the community. Ai, I just hate it. It just looks shit.

🚨🆕 @wearequeeraf.com and @whatthetrans.com can reveal that the NHS has cancelled all gender-affirming surgeries for adult patients of the Welsh Gender Service Some trans patients received the news just days or even hours before they were due to take place 👇 www.wearequeeraf.com/nhs-cancels-...

Living up to the "complaints" part of their name. Great work TACC!

TACC@tacc.org.uk

We’ve submitted a formal complaint to the Charity Commission about Sex Matters, raising concerns about its conduct, campaigning and the potential harm caused to trans people. Our full evidence is attached so you can see exactly what we’ve put to the regulator. tacc.org.uk/2026/08/19/t...

With it being payday. Bought myself a lovely new cookbook. This one brings in the politics of food and has some lovely recipes. Discussions of the effect of colonialism and a lot more. Gonna be a good read and can't wait to get into it.
