Overnight, DOJ rolled out a new (draft) complaint against Nikki Floris and Brad Benavides, the FBI agents Jeanine Pirro claims lied to cover up their knowledge of Hunter Biden investigation.
It reveals the FBI had misrepresented a key witness' knowledge of the Hunter Biden investigation.
So to cover up that misrepresentation, Pirro 1) swapped FBI agents 2) added an obstruction charge to excuse the new affidavit.
Basically, Pirro is charging the FBI agents with obstruction to cover up her cover up.
😳
As Marcy has been repeating, this case is about the government even being able to conduct counterintelligence against (Russian) disinformation.
It's clownish yet so important.

Also, I don’t even know why I’m talking about the “Arab world” because this ignorant motherfucker isn’t even limiting his racism to specific countries. He’s saying that people who are Arab, in general, don’t “produce science.”
WHAT IN THE FUCK DOES THAT EVEN MEAN
What in the ever loving racist incorrect mouth dropping is this???
The Arab world “produces” plenty of “science”… which is all the more impressive since the West periodically bombs all their shit.
RFK: "There's five hundred million Arabs in the world. And yet they don't produce science. They don't win the Nobel Prize. They don't win the Fields Prize. They don't win the Wolf Prize. They don't produce literature."
“The nonprofit that helped get Cornel West on presidential ballots in 2024 received all of its funding that year through a conservative political network that has been bankrolled by Elon Musk, tax records reviewed by Sludge show.” 10/27/26 … 1/ share.google/s1Keh9Qx6ZDV...
I've already seen some effort to bury this as "there's not a lot new here." As if, "What's one more rape victim?" is sound editorial judgment. Republicans kept the Benghazi story going for years on nothing new, but that didn't stop to press from covering every nothing burger they served up.
Alaska authorities strongly oppose the Trump DOJ’s attempted “interference” in the election.
This is significant because there were concerns the state—which sought to DQ the second Sullivan—would take the same side.
But it didn’t. Quite the contrary. buff.ly/EJHtDpX
"Specialists" are gonna focus on how we fought the algorithm, but a huge part of it was actually about people being on the streets educating others and changing their opinions. News media refused to tell people about the crimes and intentions of the bolsonaro family, so we did that ourselves.
if you want to follow ANYTHING from what elected Lula here in brazil, this is the most important lesson and change of mindset that happened here
just don't give them the attention they want. let them speak amongst themselves and let us win by silencing them with our voices
The online part was important too, of course. We collectively decided to not interact with any right wing post or comment ever. Trolls and bots lost their power. This is a good lesson.
The most beautiful sentence I ever wrote is being housed in a fireproof box underground. Everyone who ever read it spontaneously combusted in a blaze of glee. I couldn't get prose insurance for years after that.
NEW: "Donald Trump was an active participant in Jeffrey Epstein’s sexual abuse of young women during the mid-to-late 1990s," per new House Judiciary Dem report.
Report has new allegation that Trump raped a 24-year-old and then promised the victim a visa & NYU admission, demanding she stay quiet.
Listen, when I said the tent was big enough for all of us, this is not what the fuck I meant.
Thanks for the publicity or whatever, but Neo-nazis need not apply.
Besides the whole saving the knowledge of antiquity and the numerals and the science and the exquisite art, it's pretty easy to google Arab Nobel prize winners
RFK: "There's five hundred million Arabs in the world. And yet they don't produce science. They don't win the Nobel Prize. They don't win the Fields Prize. They don't win the Wolf Prize. They don't produce literature."
Wait. Wait. Wait. You're telling me the Toronto Maple Leafs had 48 hours of everyone blowing smoke up their behinds, and responded by no-showing their next game against a bad team?
No. I refuse to believe it. That doesn't sound like them at all.
A 2025 Nobel Prize winner in chemistry, Omar Yaghi is the son of Palestinian refugees who grew up in Jordan.
He just left the US to move to China after raising concerns about rising anti-immigrant sentiment, like the kind shown here. donmoynihan.substack.com/p/china-than...

BREAKING: Judge Reyes has issued a preliminary injunction over the golf course and begins with this:
"Rarely, if ever, has the United States Department of Justice urged a federal court not to believe the sitting President."

I know there's a lot going on but I feel it should probably be more of an above-the-fold story that members of Congress released a thoroughly documented report directly accusing the president of the United States of being a serial rapist.
There are only two explanations for the NYT's habit of presenting GOP operatives and donors as true swing voters:
1. Their reporters and editors are somehow incapable of running a simple Google searches, showing just a staggering level of journalistic incompetence
2. They want to the GOP to win
I believe that DOJ has 30 days to get a grand jury indictment after charging on information unless Comey waived his right to a grand jury indictment, which I kind of doubt. That 30 days would expire 11/4. Is that correct @joycewhitevance.bsky.social@barbmcquade.bsky.social@rparloff.bsky.social ?
BREAKING: The DOJ has charged JAMES COMEY (on information, no grand jury indictment) with violations of the ESPIONAGE ACT going back to 2016. They charged this exactly 10 years after they allege the "crime" occurred: equal to the statute of limitations. storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.us...
“James Comey charged for a third time by the Trump administration”
NBC reports that the case has played out under seal in DC since Oct, 5–and Comey hasn’t been indicted there. buff.ly/BypEFNv
Literally the first shot of this "historically accurate" Odyssey movie shows a boat that
A) Has no steering oar.
B) Is under full sail *and* full rowers while entering a cave, presumably to dock inside.
It's funny how the Defenders of Western Civilization really want Odysseus to be this heroic patriarchal figure when he is canonically kind of a dirtbag.
1/ If we need another sign the U.S. is going backward in health, here it is. Measles cases in the U.S. have now topped 4,500 this year, which is the highest annual case count since 1991. Cases are still climbing, so let's break down what’s happening and what comes next. 🧵
Everyone keeps asking me how I’m feeling about early voting so far.
I’m feeling like nobody *actually* knows anything, and this is the most important midterm of our lives.
I’d rather be us than them, but we can’t get comfortable. We can’t get complacent.
Go vote like we’re down 3%.
If the real priority was actually protecting girls from actual men who pose a risk to them in sports, it would make much more sense to advocate for banning male coaches and male doctors. And I’ve never, ever ever heard that suggestion, because that’s not really what this is about.
A new survey of 1,000 American adults found that the strongest supporters of transgender sports bans are not the people who admire women most: they are the people who hold the most hostile views about women.

Trump fought a federal judge for weeks to keep his Election Day plans secret. He lost. One thing he has to hand over today: the order that sent agents to voters’ front doors in nine states. A nurses’ union already got that blocked. Now the rest comes out.
If she wins a full term in November, Fire Thunder would join a growing number of Indigenous women successfully seeking higher office across the country.
In Montana, the success of these candidates is a result of decades of women-led organizing on the ground.
“The Department of Justice is putting its formidable thumb on next week’s elections in a way that seems clearly intended to call into question the legitimacy of any result that is especially unfavorable to Republicans—before those results have even come in.”
Me on DOJ’s California and Alaska suits:
In his acceptance speech, Lula says he will work to regulate digital platforms in Brazil. “Digital crimes must be dealt with like real-life crimes.” This comes after Meta directly interfered with the Brazilian elections, favouring Flávio Bolsonaro.
He claims here that other states have a law saying "somebody with the same name can't run." That is false. In no state is that the law, and it would be unconstitutional. You can have rules about how the ballot is disambiguated, you can't say nobody else with a similar name is allowed to run at all.
BASH: What's the crime?
AG TODD BLANCHE: What's the crime? Well it depends. There *could* be a crime. But the real wrong here is that Alaskans are gonna be confused.
