I voted early last week and I forgot to check how many votes had been done after the machine finally took my ballot, for some reason it spit it back out to me but I finally got it to take it.

Polls are dangerous because it can lull you into complacency and motivate opposition to rally

Voted. Walked my ballot inside the board of elections and placed in that ballot box. There were 2 repugs running unopposed. Really wanted to write in “anyone but” but afraid that would invalidate my ballot. So I left blank.

Emotional memory aside, most of the early vote data confirms what the polls saying blue wave. A polling error alone wouldn't account for a blue mirage at this point. The only way Rs win outside of cheating is multiple data wrong in different ways or a late surge in R approval. But OC margins matter.

Absolutely. Pay no attention to enthusiasm, crowd sizes, early voting numbers and especially polls. Here in Ohio, many progressives think Amy Acton will win. I tell people she has a chance but Ramaswamy can win, so don’t be thinking the outrage over his depraved ad will swing the election her way.

Part of their plan is to say Dems are leading in all these races to rally the Republican vote and for Dems to get complacent and not vote. I don’t believe any polls anymore, they’re all manipulated. All we can do is to vote and get everyone we know to vote.

Me, I’m skeptical. Been burned so searingly with past polls. Right now the I signage and blind applause at his rallies, the alarming street interviews, US-based Brazilians going for Bolsonaro, and the knowledge that bigotry is alive and well and very loud, has me really worried.

What we are seeing in my county (we think) is that people are using the drop boxes instead of the mail. Time will tell if there’s an increased turnout, or just a change in process.

We filled out our ballots tonight and are physically taking them into a polling place to have them scanned in. We are not trusting the post office or drop boxes this year.

I voted early in Missouri. But I live in deep red MAGA cult land, so not sure what good it will do. However, I can honestly report, the MAGA Super Pac is spending a shit ton of money on attack ads against Democrats here, why? 🤔
